sunglasses

I got mine from Boots - http://www.boots.com/en/Pharmacy-He...-Sunglasses/Non-Prescription-Sunglasses/Mens/

I'm no fashion guru, but I'm happy with them. Good quality, looks and reasonable price IMO. Got mine a few years ago and the range in the shop was bigger than the website, but I've no idea what it's like now.

If you are after brand names etc, though they sell them, you might be better off looking elsewhere.

depends what you consider a stupid price to be.... maybe try boots or various outdoors/climbing shops

most designer brand sunglasses are made by the same company in Italy(Luxottica) - for those you can go to sunglasses hut

How coincidental - I was just reading through our search results for Ray Bans. I've seen a pair of aviators today at £70 new and was wondering if they were worth it.

I bought some polarised lense ones at matalan to go on holiday with (I always ruin expensive pairs, and cheap pairs live forever) for £15 2 weeks ago. They're very comfy and have good protection.

I'm looking at some new sunglasses too; The ones i currently have were £5 from Decathlon, but i've managed to not lose them for a year so i want to treat myself to some nice ones :p

Been looking at Hawkers and Boosted Shades. Links ....

The trouble is..£8! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00WIPMEOA/ref=twister_B00WIPD1J2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Of those, I think i prefer the Hawkers Blue, plus only £25

I contributed when Hawkers were doing a Kickstarter. I got 4 pairs of glasses (2 each for me and the wife) for about £30.
Have found them to be really good quality.

American Optical. Got myself some Original Pilots (shallower than Ray-Ban Aviators, damn you high cheek bones) for the summer.. Great so far, dealt with todays cloudless 28c with aplomb.

Thanks for the input :) I'm probably gonna go for the Hawkers Blue, but of course, they're out of stock at the minute :(

With sunglasses you get what you pay for. Get some with good lenses and well made and you will be spending ~£120 but they will last a long time. I still use my dads early Raybans from the 80s and they are great. Things to look out for - General fit and arm hinges.

These are the ones I use

I have tried multiple cheaper sunglasses and the fit sometimes feel off, arms break easily and the lenses feel like they do nothing. I always just get £1 ones from pound land for festivals because I know they end up getting lost the first night

Just got some Hawkers delivered today . Pretty nice , the packaging it came with was pretty quality aswell . Hard Box , fews stickers ( gave em to nephews ) and a little pouch with the hanging strings.

Shame its crap weather now, typical

Grab yourself some Hawkers. I've managed to amass 4 pairs.

Edit: arrr old thread. Glad you're pleased with your hawkers :) Plus they've always got some discount code flying around.
