Praise Allah to be on British buses

all religion should be banned and we should all put our efforts into science instead,
does that mean we'l become scientologists? :o

I don't like it... I don't know why and I know that it probably makes me racist to say that.

Am I a bad person?

Do you actually have first hand experience with that kind of thing? I work for a bank and as far as I know we don't close customers accounts because they aren't profitable, the Financial Ombudsman would jump down our throat if we did.

Money Laundering can be related to terrorism, so that would explain why it's being reported that they had their accounts closed due to potential terror links. Unless you think that's just something that's been made up?

It was more a massive overreaction to some accusations.

You can perhaps understand why a bank might just take the easiest course of action rather than bothering to find out if there was any basis to the claims.

As an organisation that operated in Palestine, it would be pretty easy to make tenuous links people in the area.

Most of it's operations aren't even in Palestine.

Why does it bother you? Should be able to work out why.

Most of the donors to this charity will be Muslims, are they not allowed to appeal to that demographic through media?

Short answer.
If it was upto me I wouldn't allow it, not because it's Muslim but because it's religious and religion is nonsense.

I couldn't care less.

Religion - all forms of it - is something made up by man to keep society in check, the sooner modern society wakes up to this throw back to the dark ages and rejects it the better.

This sort of thing is blatantly racist towards us atheists.

All we need now is for someone to be offended on our behalf. ;)

The way I look at it, Muslims are waging an ideological war against non Muslims and westerners in particular.

Therefore it is particularly crass of them to even consider such a thing.

A message such as 'we support freedom from Oppression of ISIS' while not as catchy, would probably gel a little better.

After all, with wars in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Libya, what is there to praise Allah for?

You need help. :)

This is no different than the 'There's probably no God' campaign which happened some years ago. A boring endeavour which has only one positive effect: it reveals the people who are off their meds through the reactions it causes.

It promotes something which I believe to be absolute nonsense. I find that counter productive.

Most food advertising is nonscence, in fact, a great deal of things that are advertised to us, are often not in our best interests, either financially or physically, so religion is really no different.
Let people choose.

Well thats one way to stop them blowing busses up :p

I'd rather not see any religious advertisements, will only cause daily mail outrage!

No because at least you recognise it.

There are some people who dont give a rats arse about animal welfare and they make this whole issue about halal meat being cruel against animals and lobbying subways to stop halal branches.

But it's nothing to do with animal welfare because halal slaughter by subways is basically exactly like non-halal slaughter. It's just that there a man saying praise to Allah while the slaughter is taking place. It gets stunned before slaughter.

Obviously the guy just hates muslims and tries to find a justification. But didn't just made up a justification without doing real research.

if the guy cared so much about animal welfare perhaps he wouldnt eat from a fast food place that uses battery farmed hens that eat non-natural foods like corn.

Hens are omnivores and eat insects, worms etc much more than grains.
