GTX 1070 performance

If that's true, £400 for a Founders Edition = ~£360 for an EVGA SC, is my guess.
If that's the case I'll definitely be getting one of these to satisfy me, until I have the option to jump to a 1080Ti (or maybe keep the 1070... Or maybe upgrade to VEGA?! Choices choices!)
EDIT: I should say instead, I'll definitely be getting one IF it can compete well with a 980 Ti

£400 for a founders 1070 so around £380 for a FTW model from EVGA which ISN'T a bad deal, pick up a pair for cheaper than a Titan X and not much more expensive than the top of line 980 Ti's and about on par with KINGPIN and 2 1070s will annihilate those cards!

for 1080p it's all you need mate
for 1440p, not sure. depends what you play and how many fps you want to pull out
I'm in no man's land with my gsync 1440p now.
The clown edition for the GTX 1080 is £95 cheaper than the FE, so I don't know why you think it'll only be £20 cheaper for the 1070?

Just man up and get a 1080 msi aero for 533 and stick a corsair on it.

I wil def go for it at some point but I'm loving smoothness of 100fps too much. at this point in time there is no card that could take me there in 4k. I did sli in recent past and won't do it again.

Yes, the patient option.. At least for those of us with no card lol. If I didn't recently upgrade to a 1440p monitor I would have kept my 970 until Vega/1080 Ti. That is the real patient game

either way I need quite a few more ponies to push my 1440p at 100fps
so either 1070 or 980ti for me. Ideally 1080ti but that's like q4 16 or q1 next year
Well the EVGA 1070 FTW is what I am after, if it's around that price I'll be getting one. I am so desperate for a GPU, currently been using the 6700k for graphics, for the last 6 weeks since my 7990 broke.
