So Dana and Lorenzo flew to Stockton to see Nate. Apparently the meeting didn't end well and Dana stormed out. Rumour is that Nate wanted the same $10 Mil that Connor is getting and the UFC don't want to pay. Disgusting IMHO. I love MC, but you can't pay Diaz less when he wtfpwned Connor the first time.

Problem is that people don't really care about Nate, even after the way he beat Conor. Sure, he'll get respect from the fans and fellow fighters, but he's simply not as interesting or exciting as Conor and that's never going to change. If he were to fight someone else other Conor he wouldn't get the same PPV buys and the UFC as a business have to reflect that in how they pay their fighters.

The trouble is that despite the win last time out, Nate simply isn't the draw that Conor is and will never get this kind of money fighting someone else!

Harsh given that he won the first fight but that's the business!

BJ off UFC199 because of a USADA violation, apparently he admitted using an IV during his training? He obviously didn't know they had been banned or something?

Doesn't sound like sort of thing that'd go unnoticed if you are a fighter, even being out of the game as long as BJ has been. Who knows though...

If it does happen, which it won't, it'll be hilariously dumb. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that Mayweather gets whooped in a MMA/kickboxing fight, and McGregor gets starched in a boxing bout. A pointless but great spectacle, though.

There is no denying that it would be a ridiculous spectacle that is driven entirely by money rather than it being a bona-fide sporting contest.

But I think we can all admit that we'd want to watch it!

As far as I can remember Almeida is a bit of a slow starter, he just never gets going early. Problem being he got hit with a few clean shots, and one big one and that was that.

Stephens looked great as well!! Fancied him in that one, should've had some money on as he was the underdog :(

Does anyone care? I want to see McGregor fight. Get it on.

Can't quite get my head around this McGregor love-in to be honest!?!

I mean sure, he's an entertaining fighter, more so out of the cage than in imo, but he's not even defended his belt once yet and for some reason all anyone wants to see is a fairly pointless grudge match with Diaz!?!?!

I've never been a fan of the Diaz brothers but I really hope that when they do rematch, Nick beats him again and forces him to *shock-horror* actually defend his title!

Watching the UFC 199 embedded stuff, Rockhold is absolutely huge for a MW, he's sparring Cain and dwarfing him.

Fear for Bisping in this one.

Aye, doesn't bode well.

The card looks pretty damn good all over.

Luke Rockhold (c) vs. Michael Bisping
Dominick Cruz (c) vs. Urijah Faber
Max Holloway vs. Ricardo Lamas
Dan Henderson vs. Hector Lombard
Dustin Poirier vs. Bobby Green
