Has anyone gotten a Halifax credit card to authorize? I rang them today as instructed by Apple pay and Android pay to authorize the card for use, yet the card is still not authorized in either app.

Rang them again and still it will not work, sigh.

Mine works fine no issues at all.

Did you like ring them and it worked straight off the bat after they authorized or did it just authorize automatically though the app?

Had to ring them and it worked straight away, got an email and a letter in the post confirming it as well.

When you call them is it an automated system?

Mostly pressing numbers yes, then a wait to speak to a person who just said, right its all done.

Does it work when you have say Barclays contactless on their app and your nectar card on the android pay app? Although Sainsburys where I do most of fill ups don't appear to have contactless...

Well because Natwest didn't support this on launch I have started a bank switch to Halifax! Need phone payments in my life.

Barclays annoy me doing this, but to be fair the online banking and their app are pretty good.

Not had chance to use them yet given there is nothing in my account until they finalise the switch.

Seems easy enough to navigate the app and website though.

I'm with Halifax and find both the app and site easy to navigate and find what you need.

I'm assuming it's similar to Lloyds, the app/online banking is usable but a lot worse than Barclays.

Halifax user here too, easy to use and navigate, both online and mobile versions.

Android pay works a charm too

Anyone ringing to get a halifax credit card activated make sure you specify it is a credit card you want activated because the first rep won't be a able to activate it even though they say it has been, you need to be transferred to another department.

Found out today you don't even need to wake the phone with Barclays contactless. It wakes the screen to show the confirmation screen once the reader has made the transaction. Sweet!
