Car mounts - Brodit?

To me the Brodit ones look like something you'd attach your Nokia phone to in the 1990s. :p

I would argue the other way.
Air vent mounts seem so stuck on.

I have a brodit mount on my A pillar in my V70 with one of there active chargers attached to it.
Can get a pic of my car to update but its basically as below with the charger attached:

The cable from the active charger goes straight into the A pillar so you cant see any cables and its wired in under the dash.

This means my phone slots in horizontally (can be mounted either way) and I have NAV etc right in my eye line.

Also on a 3 hour trip or whatever I can stream music and run NAV and not worry that my phone will die.

I hate cables dragging everywhere and this is the best solution I have found so far.

Genuine TomTom suction mount works well on windscreen I re-attached once in 5 years
I see they have a vent model too only £6
osmount 'stickiness' technology looks good but much more bulky.

I've got a OsoMount 360 Grip Mount for mine, which works great. However, I did try the Kenu Airframe + and it didn't work at all in my car.

Mine broke :( bloody good phone holder until it did, though. Virtually impossible to detach from the windscreen without getting your legs involved once you've stuck it there.
