Which Actors/Actresses do you not like but other love

Jennifer Lawrence, she seems to be the femme actor of the moment and always seems to phone it in! Can't stand that mug!

Jack Black.
I don't know why. He annoys me. Like he's trying to hard. I think I probably did like him until I saw The Jackal.

I liked Woll Smoth in I, Robot and ID. Oh and possibly also Enemy of the State. But then I just liked those films, probably not because he was in it. Anyone else playing those roles would've been just as good.

I also don't like Adam Sandler, because he's terrible.

Kiera Knightley because she also has only 3 or 4 faces she can make, to cover all emotions she's trying to portray as an actress.

Plenty I hate but the two main ones I hate are two planks you could put together and make a bridge across a fast flowing river they are so wooden;

Keanu Reeves - one expression, one tone of voice
Kirsten Stewart - one expression, one tone of voice

They are two sides of the same full and grimy coin.

Can't actually think of any at all. Quite the opposite - I like actors others seem to dislike, such as Sandler (not seen his recent output, tbf), Will Smith, Jim Carey and Keira Knightly (who I actually love a bit).

Matt Damon. The thing is he is a very good actor and he is in some great films but I have to force myself to see past him because, he just gives me the creeps. For some reason he makes my skin crawl (for a couple of films it was quite effective and added to the film because he was playing someone creepy).

Halle Berry because other than a very occasional blip in her career she's pretty much getting jobs based on her looks. She has proved in the past she can act but most of the time she's terrible.

I seem to be assuming a very defensive role in this thread...

Leonardo di Caprio. Probably because of his heart-throb status with teenage girls when Titanic came out.

Nope. Too many good films to name.

Um... Silver Linings Playbook is very good.

Dont mind him but Tom Hardy is also exceedingly overrated.

Warrior. Job done.

Again, too many decent films to bother listing.

Seth Rogen - The least funny 'comedy' actor I've ever had the displeasure to watch. I don't know what people saw in Bad Nighbours. I had to switch it off after 20 minutes, purely because I wanted to punch the telly every time Seth Rogen breathed, moved and especially spoke ...

I thought that too years ago. As he's got older, I've changed my mind about him & I think he's probably the best A list Hollywood Actor out there right now.

Meryl Streep on the other hand I despise for some strange reason. Probably due to having too many Oscar nominations. :p
