Said it before and I'll say it again, TM = worst server EVER! :p

Should be on tonight if others are.


Played some battlefront yesterday and I got to say it has nicely improved since we all last played it, I didn't seem to get killed at all by heroes or the vehicles and this was on walker assault, which is usually the worst for that! Weapon balance seems to be a bit better too and much much much less spammy with the grenades. Nice game where you can just jump in for a quick couple of rounds and not care about winning/losing the game etc.
 
I don't find any of the other UK servers any better and most aren't admined as well. Though it can be a bit irritating how often you get kicked unless you play there a lot or have VIP.

Yeah it's a pain when you don't have VIP. You can earn VIP on either of their servers, and you're less likely to get kicked from #2, but they do like to experiment with maps and game modes on that server.

LOL it's not the worst server ever, it's great for farming noobs, and despite the hackusations we get sometimes, real cheats get removed. It's sometimes laggy, but any server with a 200ms pinger on gets laggy.

Anyway, we should see about stomping the official EA fridaynight server tonight, I need to steal some gold DICE tags :D I should be on briefly around 7:30 8 is, and then for the late rampage from about 9:30.

I'd also be interested in giving Battle front another blast next week sometime if you're up to it for a change of scenery, but I didn't buy any DLC packs.
 
The amount of times I got kicked when I could play there was a joke, what made it even more annoying was that they didn't kick players that just joined or had crap scores, instead it is random so the players that are in the top 5 could get kicked, happened to me a fair bit when I was at the top, maybe it has changed now though...

Plus, any server that adds an auto kick for k/d being too high are idiots too, especially when it is a rather low k/d

Not to mention iirc, it has/had stupid aggressive auto balance that moves you over during the game, usually at the point where there was no chance at all for the team to turn the game around....


That is my one big hope for BF 1 (other than not being dumbed down to battlefront levels...) is for DICE/EA to stop servers from being adjusted so much, the choice for servers now is absolutely dog ****, either:

- insane amount of tickets
- fast spawn
- only 1 map

I don't like this whole VIP/auto kick thing either.

Well my experience there was awful :p IIRC, it was/is also stinger and MBT law roof camping warrior central :D

Probably be about 8 for me, want to get some GTA fun/trolling in later tonight as well. The casuals farmers will probably also be on the EA server, that is their home ground :D

Yeah I am up for it any time, it is a good fun game where you can just jump in and not worry about doing well, team work and all that. I also haven't bought any DLC packs. Like I said, it plays very differently now to when we last played it and most of the complaints that we had, have been sorted in one way or another.

Yeah the FEAR lot seem to get very persistent with their lockons when they realise they are being farmed by vehicles. I had two whole squads after me yesterday, and killing them didn't make them give up. It's not so much of a problem if we have some decent pilots too, as they don't know who to target, ground or air.

It's not been a problem for us TBH, had a few "WTFs" and "That just happened?" after getting mvps on there :D

There tends to be enough good players on both sides to prevent complete imbalance.

That LB was giving me hell on yawn breaker, I'd hit him with a sabot, he'd survive (2 reppers), come at me, I'd hit him again, by then I'd have been flanked by an engineer, so the LB and engineer could quickly down me. 3 times in 2 mins I sabot'd that LB!. Went back to the AA after that, and he lost interest in A flag!. If I'd had a repper/gunner, things would have been different.
 
Yesterday was ok games, bit quiet but HazardO is all I need for good lols !
I have to agree TM servers are rubbish, I would look for some nice german servers. Good ping, usually no problems at all. they may even let stu play for a day or two before he starts calling them nazis :D
 
I should be on this weekend. Either Sat/Sun. @Mynight - From what I can tell you haven't played BF in weeks/months so again, who???!

I need to find a server with like a 90ms ping kicker or something :| the difference in massive between the experience I have with everyone around 50ms and the total hell it becomes when a few people 150+ join.

Really dunno what was up with it but a couple of times I went up against him (without repper on my side) and pretty much mirroring him move for move and he was unlockable for twice aslong as I was - can only assume they were doing something like seat switching :|

EDIT: He was using ECM and belt feed (unless his loadout changed since) versus my ECM and Stealth so I really should have had the edge on that aspect.

I wouldn't say they are rubbish, while they aren't the best they're certainly a long way from rubbish. The admins are active, keeping out the worst of the hackers. They don't whine to much about us stacking, although sometimes the counter stack does take the ****. Also the server is normally reliable and stable with a good ping. I do wish they would put a 100ms max ping limit on it though.

Stu just need to give a groveling apology, hope they will take pity on him and un-ban him.

Kiwi couldnt play on that server then.
 
I've either drunk way too much sangria this morning or it looks like Potato and 1tap are back playing BF4.

I go away for 2 weeks and chaos reigns.
