Very expensive for a mobo - but what a mobo it is, I just could not resist, and so I have pre orderd. I am in the queue - yay.

Looking forward to a play with this.

Quick question for you chaps and chapesses who are currently running the Ramage V, whats the on board audio like? As I am wondering if its worth keeping the Creative Sound Blaster Zx as I am looking at the other options as well.

ok so ive just seen the price on OcUK

524.99

seriosuly is this a sick joke or an inflated pre-order price

This is MSRP.

The board is working great in my testing.

The IMC is not strong at all on BW-E neither is Cache clocking. I prepared stuff for a review of the CPUs on this board prior to computex will try get it up tomorrow.

Is the above similar to Haswell E or worse ?

Are you getting new memory?

I am leaving my other 5960X systems alone.

I will be upgrading an old 3930k based PC and using the same type of memory as my other X99 systems.

I was hoping the IMC on the 6950X was going to be better but it does not look that way. Once the PC is up and running I will test out the IMC and see if it is worth trying something like 3400mhz DDR4.
