So life takes you strange places sometimes. Last night I had the pleasure of talking with a gentlemen whom owns a local business, but also happens to play roles alongside Robert De Niro (and also in things like The Departed).

Was pretty cool to talk to him, as he was a really nice guy, and good to hear what it is like to act alongside him.

Was just sat there thinking, how on earth did I get in this conversation, and wondering how the heck some of my friends know these folks lol)

Worst "I talked to someone who knows a celebrity" thread ever... at least you could have told us something interesting or amusing to go with it. :p

'Whom' is the objective pronoun. In the above sentence the gentleman is the subject, not the object. A good rule of thumb is that if the pronoun could be replaced by he/she then use who, if it could be replaced by him/her use whom.

There, now if this thread serves no other purpose it's educated some people a little.

Actually, it's just made you look like a pedantic prat, as with all members who post specifically to correct minor grammatical errors.

I'm over burdened with his interesting tales and anecdotes, it'll take me a while to process all that information
