No got myself a Pc engine with cd rom more than happy
Makes me think of my dads BBC Micro
last time i checked i was 137th in the queue for FTW but seems quite a few people have cancelled their orders! Still staying strong!!. The frustrating thing is, this is my first ever build, everything is here and waiting to be built but still waiting for the card!!! not OCUK fault but still frustrating!

Checked with Gigabyte again today and they say they shipped.
They did give me bad news though the Xtreme shipment they sent they recalled due to a packaging issue causing the fan to touch and make noise. So those are being redone and reshipped end of next week now.

Seems their twitter was correct then, how did they manage to overlook something as obvious as that? Nobody thought to spin the fans to see if there was enough clearance?

Wahoo! Excellent news (for the G1s, obviously condolences for xtreme buyers). Hopefully delivered for the start of next week then I'd imagine.
well powering the build will be the popular i7 6700k (so at some point I can play around with overclocking) This is going to be cooled by the corsair H115i AIO cooler. These will both sit on the Maximus Viii Hero mobo (still kicking myself i Didn't go for the formula but oh well!) RAM I went with 2x 8gb hyper fury and my GPU is of course the FTW 1080 that I'm patiently waiting for. All this is going to be powered by EVGA 750 PSU and sitting in the 750D airflow edition full tower case.
I have a few other bits like the NZXT HUE lighting, custom coloured sleeved cables, T20 speakers, 144hz asus monitor.
The motherboard has a HDMI Port and a Display Port so i could start building it while I'm waiting for the 1080 but figured might as well wait and do it all at once!

Caused by packaging so new packaging and then they won't break.

The ftw is about as plentiful as rocking horse ****. Better off going for one thats in stock sooner.

UK has been shafted on the FTW model. USA got all the FTW GPU's
