Right, except the so called "unwanted" immigrants come from outside the EU, and non EU migration is controlled by ourselves anyway, with the exception of taking in refugees, which is something we should absolutely do as an act of humanity anyway.

no we've got uncontrolled migration from the EU - thus a lot of people who wouldn't get in under a points based system - that is the 'unwanted' portion... non-EU migrants are here under visas and are generally wanted/needed

Yep....

Jesus no lol.

I'm flabbergasted...... He or she seriously believed that. And no doubt based with Vote On That shoddy piece of information.

Very amusing comment from Nix on Facebook: "It's like the turkeys have voted for Christmas" :D

Oh well it's done now - let's all make the best of it.

Because they are in a completely different position to us. Different populus, different values, different government, different trade, and *puts on tinfoil hat* sitting on profits from lots of nazi gold.

What a daft question.

But it's not a daft question, it's primarily a service sector economy like ours..i don't see how Switzerland manage fine in the world yet we can't.

Gold. :p

Oh and also the fact its a totally different country, as I already said.

how do Switzerland manage it then?

By having a decade of stagnation before they finally managed to halfway-house into the EU and get some growth. Our situation is the opposite; we're abandoning the best terms available for possibly getting some worse terms.

Serious point, who is going to pick the vegetables you eat, and work on the farms for the livestock we eat now that the workers won't be here, and the subsidy the farmers get is gone.
Not immediately of course but over the next couple of years?
The trouncing the economy will take coupled with the loss of income will mean we cannot just pay for that farming subsidy from the taxpayer purse.

Expect tesco prices to slowly rise and rise.

Tempoary work visas for seasonal workers?

Major overreaction from many people in the Remain camp, nobody knows exactly what will happen, there's a long and complex process ahead of us.

I'm not convinced Cameron will go imminently at all...

Bored of hearing about Scotland, if they want to leave, just go.

I have to agree.

People are speaking as if this is the end of days. Now we have the news doing their scaremongering. It ridiculous. I'd like to see and hear some positivity.
