Give it a few weeks and it will be business as usual....stock market reaction is hilarious but I guess it's a quick and easy buck for them.

I'm proud of people though , the amount of scaremongering was unreal and will continue to be and people still voted leave despite all those fears..just goes to show how out of touch London really are
And Scotland see ya later!!

Best post here :D

Agreed

And this is what happens when Cameron screws people over for all these years
This is what happens with mass immigration

I'm SO happy, and so is my mum,dad and girlfriend :D:D

Look at remain " This is division, over 52% vote didn't want this " waaa waaaa

Shambles? Do you not agree with the democratic outcome?
The whole episode has been absolutely shambolic. However "democracy" has won in the respect of showing absolute division between England, Wales and NI and Scotland.

Then again looking at the figures as a whole it strikes me that the entire union (UK) seems split almost 50%. Choice, regardless of the premise, it was made upon can only get you so far;but yes I absolutely accept the result.

gah I'm tired.

Well I'm nervous now about how this will affect us.

Will it affect our cost of living?
What will happen to the £?
Will the finance industry move to Frankfurt?
People's careers?
Trade and import costs?
Will this make us 'closer' to the USA?
How will this affect our economy?

I don't give a **** about immigration that's the least of my concern.

I'm all for change usually, but that's in a controlled way with lots of mitigation and knowledge, I don't think anyone really knows what's going to happen now which is what makes me uneasy. I'm really nervous about things because I don't know how this is going to work.

I think this is just a roar of defiance towards government. I just hope people didn't do it blindly. Because we are a tiny country with very little power independently so I hope this works out okay.

Indeed
Immigration really is about to take a back seat to the economy

Watch out pensions.
Watch out mortgage rates.

I think people who voted out will regret their decision in a month or so as the financial impact hits home and not 'those greedy bankers'

Sure, Sell Sell Sell

FTSE is largely global companies. Plus sterling at the same going down means its really a buy longer term, two negatives multiplied...

Also thin market out of hours can be misleading or inaccurate, thats possible

Dont really agree on this, democracy isnt selective. Could also chart it by tax paid, I know a couple people who voted moved abroad never came back except to visit, cos your young thats possible.
Also we can always rejoin so 70 year life expectancy isnt that relevant, people get a bit OTT in views when leaving terms are all subject to negotiation over more then a year I expect

Must sting for all those die hard remainers that were spewing vitriol everywhere lol :D

This is why you should learn to play nice, you look stupid after lol. Still, we've got at least another 2 years of remaining and we'll see what happens after we have, might renegotiate a position from the outside or whatnot.

:D

Classic post.:)

Wondering whether I should go through with my house purchase now......
Do we think Cameron will actually take us out on a 2% majority?

We're out. He has to give notice to the EU today. He promised. But carry on all will be ok.

You've thought wrong all the way through this. Most of the people in the UK HATE the EU and all it stands for.

Unfortunately the British people voted for a conservative government to makes lots of cuts, so.....

And anyway the UK population growth has been the same for 10 years. When did this mass migration happen?

Going to make this very clear, this isnt the electorates fault.

The Government has failed for decades to solve growing tensions and just brushed it under the rug is unimportant drivel, in fact tensions were purposely abused to win votes for the tories...

This is a failure to listen and its permanent.
