This there will be a serious under current of let them reap what they have sown don't expect an easy ride in negotiations as all 27 member states will need to agree so it will only take one to put the knife in!
No we don't want that and never did, was just the remain camp spinning the leavers wanted to stop, halt immigration even though they were told the plan is to have a points system. Remain camp just couldn't accept that leave was to take a common sense approach to immigration and not a racist one.

The idea that Leave voters are racist is completely bonkers. The EU dictates that we let however many (white) europeans come to the UK as want to. Uncontrolled immigration means that the UK has to have a RoW immigration policy so strict that it effecitvely blocks us from letting people from outside the EU.
Leaving the EU actually means we can have a more balanced immigration policy making it easier for a greater variety of people to come to the UK.

Didnt EU say they dont want Scotland or splinter states like that. Problem is scotland needs London like a lot of the country does

lol the Brexit camp are trying to slam the brakes on article 50 now they realise what has happened.
Cameron's done anyway, the least he can do is refuse to honour the result before stepping down. This result was a protest against the government but to actually think you'd be better off it we carried on down this path is insane.

Wouldn't imagine anything meaningful will happen until after the leave negotiations have taken place and Article 50 is actually invoked on the back of those leave conditions.

This won't stop immigrants at all and I say this as an immigrant from Germany.
The majority of immigrants come from Africa, Pakistan, Asia which are all outside the EU so we will still be getting hundreds of thousands of them every year like we have been every year.
We will need to say STOP soon though as we're only a small island and I for 1 don't want England to turn into new Pakistan or new Africa because "muh multiculturalism maaaannn".

Or at least I did until I peeked on FB and saw all the tears from friends and family. All Leave voters are Xenophobic apparently?! My vote had nothing to do with migration and I have consistently made that clear on these forums.
I am sorry that those of you voting remain didn't get the outcome you wanted. I hope this doesn't fracture the forums.

wow - really surprised, i didn't really think it would happen.
I still think we will be ok, we just need to calm down and act like adults.
all my friends on facebook are blaming racists but i blame the EU for becoming so divorced from the people and being so arrogant.

Sadly i think that if they do call another one we'll end up leaving the UK this time. The uncertainty about being admitted to the EU if we left the last time would have swayed a lot of votes to stay, with that no longer an issue it's unlikely those people would vote the same again.
