How does that help things?

If he's paying tax and contributing to the economy then what's the issue?

Sorry he doesn't believe in the same ideals as you but the likelihood is he wont have a place in shaping the UKs future. Save the bile for the people who are in a position to do something and aren't.

I contribute a significant amount of tax in the UK thanks. But it's ok, because your post basically just summed up the mentality and intelligence of those behind the leave vote.

The irony that some of the leave voters will die in the Winter because of likely increase to energy bills, absolutely hilarious. You couldn't make it up.

A single person on a desert island can be said to be independent. It is the consequence of the independence which matters. A rational person would not choose to be isolated and alone on an island.

What if you have 69 million mates with you? And regular ship visits?

Very sad that politics of division and fear won out, and that such a small majority is deemed acceptable to make such a decision.

Not looking forward to an unfettered UK government run by the likes of May.

Oh well, lets get on with it now.

Oh Jesus now I've got all the remain lot at work trying to convince me how I was wrong. Some Scottish dude telling me how we've started the apocalypse yadayadayada.

Play another bloody record please.

What if your 69 million mates were all in an already vulnerable socio-economic group at the bottom of a trickle down economy and self imposed lowering of living standards were to occur? I'd suspect that utilising those regular ship visits would be somewhat more difficult than before.

Haha, I know.

He actually thinks that taking a PHD in space blah blah blah *snore* makes any difference to the nation.

The butt hurt is funny though :D

But another highly educated young person leaving is just another straw on the camels back.

The views of people like SciNeT are just pushing more and more educated young people away, which is not good for the the British economy. We are after all the most highly mobile part of the population, being able to move countries with much greater ease than almost any other subsection of society.

Do we want the UK to be an economy of steel workers and heavy industry? Or do we want the UK to have a highly skilled and educated workforce?
