** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

Ohhhhhhh yeah, I'm glad I ordered earlier in the week :D

I'm sure the prices will stabilise over the next week and then eventually drop fairly significantly over the next month or so if you can wait.

Our last purchases were 1.43, and it just weakened to 1.38 again. Uncertainty and volatility is a bad thing :(

Hopefully it stabilises after the weekend, when markets have had time to digest the news.

Cashing in on the result of the EU is also a very bad thing. People tend to remember ;)

Just checked my queue position again for the MSI Gaming X. I'm now 22nd down from 9th on Wednesday. And still no ETA on the next shipment.

Not loving this queuing system! :(

Then will the prices go back down?

The KFA2 Ref Blower suddenly looking less attractive.
So glad I decided to buy my FE card yesterday although the competitor I bought it from still has the same price as yesterday and in stock. Looking bad for OCUK putting their prices up when others haven't.

The 15% discount came in handy too I got :)

The people buying stocks were betting on remain and that is why the drop. It will stabilise again.

MSI X with waterblock at £840. Classified at £714. EVGA FE £680!

I'm sorry but it's pretty stupid to buy a GPU today. Even if you wanted to panic buy this morning.

Uncertainty is an important thing when your currency is based on stocks - Based on numbers on a computer. In a few days, a week or two maximum, the pound will stabilise.

Lets get matters back on topic. Now where is my MSI Aero!? ;)

Don't hold your breath on that one. I cancelled my order for the MSI Aero yesterday after no one could tell me when they were coming in. After a few more people asked the same question on this thread Gibbo did say he would contact MSI for an answer. I haven't seen an update post from him yet on that. I was told by CS on Monday that MSI had shipped the Aero's to OCUK and it was just about when they landed with them. I think that was a lie, maybe not so much a outright lie but someone clearly didn’t know what the situation was and took a punt. Not good enough.

Like I said before, not when the card isn't in stock. I'm 111th in the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC Gaming ACX queue. It won't be in OCUK til next week, likely the week after. It's now £619.49. I got it for £589.99. I "saved" £29.50 and can still cancel before it turns up. Chucked it on the credit card too...

Yes that's true, but I did say buy, not pre-order :p

We're looking in more detail what we can afford to risk with graphics in particular, we shifted everything en-masse earlier to give time for product managers and finance to work it out. Pricing pretty much always follows dollar forecasts (and what our competition is doing). Forecasts are pretty much useless at the moment, unprecedented events and all that.
