The one where if we don't, European's lose their jobs as a result, causing an up surge in support for their own referendums. One where the Greek banks finally keel over, dragging down Italian, Spanish and Portuguese banks creating further economic contagion in the other EU states and more job losses. Creating further economic shock to the rest of the world as a result with knock on effects back on the EU.

Or they don't and hope that other nations where there is already a surge in support for their own referendums manage to block them.

The markets showed bigger impacts to the European markets than to the UK markets, make of that what you want.

To think we will get a concession like that whilst the rest of the actual EU members have to play by the rules is farcical.

Yes, there was a breakdown posted earlier on age versus vote cast :

I suppose it's supposed to be a humorous put down on young people... but the drug comparison makes no sense / isn't remotely comparable :p

I hope to god this is a wind up

Biggest concern for people who voted leave is immigration, what you here on news is people saying polish taking our jobs, kids in schools not speaking english, non british filling up GP places.

Now then, pulling out of the EU in the next 1 hour for example does no automatically reduce the UK population, the only way then to deliver on what leave voters want is to start kicking people out of the country or wait a few generations and fully close our borders and not let anyone in.

I'm 22, some of my friends and people I work with around my age (Birmingham/Derby) were voting to remain, however a lot of my other friends, especially those who were on low paid jobs/job seekers all wanted out.

However, not many of my friends voted albeit having a strong opinion either way... I'd say it's quite low.

Lol. On what planet will a non EU member be able to get tariff free, free trade in the EU without also having to have free movement (ie like the rest of the members have to have)?

Who do you think pulls the strings in the EU? The biggest most powerful member. The EU is perfect for Germany, a currency weaker than the Deutschmark would be, lots of cheap labour and tariff free sales. I don't see them cutting off their nose to spite their face. How many VW, Skoda, Seat, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porche etc cars are sold here?

In fact check out the story in the Express. The US, Canada and Germany are looking at special trade deas with the UK. That didn't take long...

This planet? Isn't that what the nature of the deal Canada and the EU are about to sign?

After Boris Johnson is named PM, Donald Trump will name him as his Vice President, then when Trump wins in November they will merge the countries and Trump/Johnson will be the leaders of the United Countries of Great Ameribritain.

I hope Trump properly disinfects America before he sails it over to England for the hand over.

Well they will destroy the federal EU as a direct result.

Exactly.

Did people vote leave in the hope this would be an option? Tarriff free, free trade without freedom of movement? lol.

I would be absolutely stunned if we leave the EU and then get favourable and preferential trade deals like the rest of the EU member states whilst being able to be exempt from freedom of movement. It would make a mockery of the whole of the EU.

I'll just pretend you're trolling since it's more comfortable than realising that people feel totally cool with displaying facist ideas in public.

The UK needs a National Front style government to deliver on the the immigration issue that threatens to completely destroy the UK as we know it.

If UKIP can go on a full attack against minorities and how they are taking everything from the "English Man" we should get a government that can deliver a real solution for the immigration isssue. Also UKIP will be the only party with the guts to kick out non english people to free up school places, GP places, Hospital Beds, Houses and jobs.

England now has the chance to get England back for the English, UKIP need to get up and deliver.

Kick out all non English from England so us English can get jobs.

England for England.....

First BNP voter of the day.

Nick?

Yep, I was wondering what all yhe panic was about really. He didn't seem to care one jot about the result.

Maybe he knows the sky falling in stories were just scare tactics. The big money people will always try to ensure there is stability, they have a vested interest in it ;)

You know we fish more tonnage than any other European nation bar one at the moment?

It also does not seem to be common knowledge but in a regional prog. a few years back when this came up the prog looked at the fishing licenses which you had to have and found that UK fishermen were selling their licenses to Spanish boats and retiring on the proceeds.
