City of Durham MP Roberta Blackman-Woods (Housing and Planning) says she will go today if Corbyn doesn't resign.

It's like they thought, we'll give him a nice nights sleep and come the morning make his Monday horrible.

Ship,a, rats, sinking, leaving, like...

It's going to be quite a week of political cack.

Team Corbyn digging in. Source says they're "ready" for leadership contest and will launch new £3 membership drive to boost support

Personally I could not vote for Corbyn due to some of his policies. But I will genuinely be a little sad if/when he does resign. At least he offered a different type of politics and was a man of conviction.

But holy hell we're in a mess right now and need the very best we have on both sides of the house to get us out of it.

2 more PPS have gone, Neil Coyle and Chris Matheson.

Yvonne Fovargue, the Shadow Business Minister, has resigned. Steve Reed, Trickett's deputy at DCLG has also resigned.

They'll be no one left at this rate. Hopefully Corbyn has got a few more friends... :D

Stupid Labour party,

The entire party needs a severe kick up the backside. All these folk resigning trying to take back the so called middle ground and become the next Blair need to quit as MPs or form a new party called. "I love Blair" or ILB for short and take us back to stagnation.

education education education.

That worked really well.

I like him, I think he's a good bloke. I don't think anyone really feels differently to that. It's just that he doesn't show the strength required.

trouble is he's an idealist which doesn't work and cant work. no point being an idealist if you cant get even remotely elected that means any major party has to remain reasonably middle to what the public want (which I admit is pretty rubbish) as such him being a leader of labour, absolutely impacts the uk in a negative manner, as there's no strong opposition to Tories.

should have gone made his own party and at least like ukip if you get a decent amount of votes it can influence the big parties.

Is Corbyn even considering resigning?

It almost feels like he's out on a power trip and doesn't give a damn about the state that he leaves the labour party in.

The labour party is tearing itself to shreds from within, he must know by now that he needs to step down.

Because some MPs threw a hissy fit at a time when their representatives needed them most? It's childish, and I have no idea what they're hoping to achieve. They're asking the membership ignore their own best interests and make a different decision just because 'they know better'. And it will go down about as well as you'd expect.

In this modern age of style over content...Corbyn is just a scruffy badly media trained out of touch politician.

I respect his views but in 2016 you need to be slick..

If this is true, it's pretty damning: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36633238

Corbyn hasn't given this country an effective opposition which is allowing the Conservatives to do what they want without any checks or balances. This is proving extremely damaging to the country and needs to be stopped. Whatever his ideals, he's not fulfilling the function of leader of the opposition and certainly failed at giving effective leadership to the remain campaign.
