** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

I'll 2nd this, any news yet?

Hoping for more deliveries this week. :)

We have had our busiest weekend ever on record, we think because the pound is slipping a lot of customers are panic buying to get in before any dramatic price increases.

Or people have just decided it is upgrade time or of course some people have being paid as it is near months end. :)

So our warehouse is rammed, lots of stock to book in and lots to ship out, they are doing their best.

Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed there's enough to get as far down the queue as me :D

happy for OCUK mate but it means absolutely nothing to me as I'm still waiting for my MSI 1080 Gaming X that I've paid for almost 2 weeks ago.

(and as far as I know I was only 40ish when I ordered...so I'm guessing warehouse staff wasn't that busy unpacking and sending MSI 1080s Gaming X). Not blaming OCUK as I know you guys are on a receiving end just like us

also, have we gone down from "clear all MSI 1080 preorders" last week to "hoping to get more delivered" this week :)

Almost two weeks is nothing .. its been 21 days for me

Some people have been waiting for over a month...21 days is nothing ;)

Ordered an Asus Strix 1080 at 10pm May 27th. So one month as of today for me. Still waiting. I received my Oculus Rift on May 28th. I can confirm that the lovely box it comes in is waterproof given the tears of frustration I've shed over it in the last month waiting for a bloody GPU to be able to use with the thing.

Its got to be the most expensive door stop ever :) here's hoping you get it soon

Got my Zotac GTX 1080 AMP edition (10+2 phase), it's pretty good if not a little yellow. Overclocks well on a AIO cooler (Around 42 C) (stock oc sits at around 1935 constantly on water), a lot more power headroom than my FE, weather it works in certain conditions, that is still welcome. It is also a lot better made than the FE regardless of what the CEO of NV says. The Zotac AMP still runs quite warm on a HSF (Sub 80 C), but it is running a lot quicker than the FE and does not throttle as much.

Just got a Reply from StigBourne in the CS forum that I am 62nd in the queue. Now if that means I was the 62nd person to order the card then I should have it this week given Gibbo said that these past 2 weeks, that they've been getting dribs and drabs of 10 a day 2-3 days each of those weeks. So if they've shipped about 50 thus far, at 62 I should get one out of the 20 or 30 likely to come in this week.

However if the number 62 is a constantly updating figure and I'm 62 as of today then that's another 2 to 3 weeks of waiting assuming they still only get 20 or 30 a week from Asus.

Argghh! :D

I would expect it will be a continuous update queue. Eg you are 62nd and they get 10 in and you become 52nd.

Im just waiting on the EVGA FTW until they actually get some stock, Id rather have the money in my bank account earning interest even if I have to wait until September.

Ship out from EVGA end of next week, so it would be the week after into us, and nothing is confirmed this is merely what they said and hope to do.

Wait... so not this coming Friday?

Clarify for me please. Shipping = 1st July
Delivery = commencing 4th July.

Not shipping = 8th July surely?

Confusion over Asus Strix 1080 version I ordered.

When I ordered my Asus Strix 1080 on 31st May it had this Title

Asus GeForce GTX 1080 DirectCU III Strix Gaming Aura RGB 8192MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card

but the clock specs were

Core Clock: 1784MHz
Boost Clock: 1936MHz

Now this has changed with a new OC card with the above clock specs and the card with the above title now has the same clock as the FE. So which card did I pre order?

I guess the benefit of having preordered it early is that people will have got the lower pre-brexit price. Waiting would certainly mean you don't keep checking this thread though :)
