Yeah I will be on over the weekend. :)

Was going to finish off a couple of things on the Xbone tonight but keep getting "contacting Destiny Servers" constantly. Looks to be a known issue per the reddit.

They did fix it last night but just tweeted issues again. Bungie seem to break it more when they do maintenance

Yeah it started to work in the end but I only had enough time for a strike or two by that point.

Played some pvp with WHUJeff last night, reckon he might be good at the game once he gets a better primary than Red Death! You guys have been quite quiet on the IB front, only really seen Mach playing

Did play some iron banner myself but I've also just started a titan class so going through it all again, getting a tad bored of my warlock :/
 
I don't know if it's just me or if they've nerfed the drop rates for this IB. It even seems to have changed since the last bit of maintenance while IB has been running. Got a few decent drops before, now it's just a sea of blues, motes and strange coins.

Still, I'm sure I'll put that piece of 276 armour to good use!

I had the same 335 helmet drop 5 times yesterday, at level 5 now and still not had the Colovance's Duty drop

edit: played a couple hr tonight, all blue's. weird.

I don't know about drop rates (seemed ok in the games I played) but my god they seem to have nerfed the connections!

Played a few games last night to get my hunter to level 5 and holy balls did I get salty.

I don't think I have played as many games with teleporting green bars as last night. My fusion rifle felt more like a pop gun and my golden gun was more like a golden paperclip.

I suppose I did ok (at least initially before I stared to get tired) but damn it was tough.

EDIT: Oh and I had Colovance's Duty drop during one game. Decent roll for my use so haven't bothered to buy the one I was grinding rep for..... :o

Yeah lag only gets worse on Destiny and they always try too lie that they don't mess with connections, even though they break match making at times, like software just degrades overtime like hardware. This IB was pretty annoying, last night was the worse for me too though, like just putting clips and clips into someone only for them too take no damage and melt you. Hit rank 5 so done with that for now.
 
You tend too use Mida, its a good option if you main scouts, it hits hard but you need too hit headshots. This roll has high stability and HH so that helps its worth the credits. Personally I don't use scouts often, either HC when the game is lag freeish or PRs for everything else.
 
The scout is good but it lends itself to a Jade Rabbit replacement instead of a MIDA like replacement. Mine rolled with (IIRC) -

- Truesight IS / ORS (both with increased Target Acquisition)
- Hand Laid Stock (Increased stability at the cost of a bit of range)
- Red Death "Light" perk
- 3rd Eye

I used it a bit last night and it is ok. Long range maps/ engagements it is brutal (3 tap to the head) but it absolutely sucks close to mid range. Unlike MIDA it feels really clunky / heavy when in closer engagements.

As a preference I would take Jade Rabbit over it every time.
 
Sounds like the kind of weapon you only use on those massive 6v6 maps, which are not even in the Year 2 playlists at present... lol

Probably worth a buy though, seems like a solid roll if the archetype is ever 'godly'
 
I wouldn't say Hand Cannons are the best any more, I get killed mainly by Pulse Rifles and Auto Rifles lately. I tend to do best with Scout Rifles and Auto Rifles myself.

Regarding the IB drops, I felt they were fine this week. I hit rank 5 on all characters by Friday and had quite a lot of 335 drops of all types. I did get a load of Strange Coins as well though, but they're always useful.
