Really?
I don't think it is. You can argue it was favoured by the majority of the voting populace which voted but that percentage seems to be ever dropping as more light gets shed on the possible outcomes of leaving.
No, that is you and the rest pushing an agenda as though millions of leave voters have changed their mind and now want to remain, it is a joke.
I have heard others on here say the same as above with no proof, it's just hot air. And you know it.
So people need to stop clinging onto the idea that millions of leave voters have changed their minds, no they have not, simple.
What?
I think its fair to say that 17 million people is not the majority of the populace which is 65+ million.
Not arguing that it was an unfair referendum in a sense that some people didnt vote. Just that saying the majority of the population wanted an out vote misrepresents the general attitude of the population
That is the figure of the total people who voted out, from the amount who actually voted, ~33 million, those that didn't vote dont get a say in it and you cannot include them in your skewed calculations.
Lol
I am against another referendum, i am not saying the vote should be overturned and i am not saying that it is unfair.
All i am saying is that stating the majority of the population wants something when it is not a majority, is a misrepresentation of the population.
If you had said voting populace, then it would have been correct.
I am not saying that it doesn't count, i am just saying the use of the word majority was wrong in that statement.
You are making an argument over a single word, population, you know he clearly meant total voters, which again leave was a majority of, you cant bring non voters into and argument that revolves around the people who actually bothered to vote.
Correct. But he said that is was what a majority of the population wants which is incorrect.
You would need 32.5 million votes for that.
No you wouldn't, that ~65 million includes children, how many million is that?
Plus there are others in the 65 million who are not allowed to vote, i think that the actual figure was around 45 million who were eligible to vote.
So people need to stop bringing the 65 million into this, because it has no bearing on the result at all, it's just another troll argument.
