Lol - The experts have been shown to be correct. Where is this beacon of truth ? The Leave campaign promises ? Farage's speeches ? Inside your own head ?
Errr... We were told:
House prices would sky rocket
ISIS would invade
Putin and Russia would be on their way here
The US said we would be back of the line
The EU funded "experts" (who have rarely been right about finances" said we would immediately go into a prolonged recession marred by slow growth
Other EU countries said the door would be firmly shut to any trade deals
Godzilla would immediately destroy London
Every company worth more than £452.45 would immediately vacate the nation and never return
We were told overnight there would be tens of thousands of people out of work
World War 3 would be starting in Europe
Every family would be hit with £4,300 a year extra in charges
We have taken a minor bit on the ER... Big deal... Markets fluctuate. Its consumers that drive the demand.
Yes Farage... The racist, bigoted scumbag who is totally and utterly useless... The very same one who won against all the nay-Sayers and regressives who made overwhelmingly the most noise. Farage beat you. That utterly useless moron who "never bothers turning up" actually did the biggest political upset in modern politics
To respond with the conclusion of the rebuttals we would have now: Move on
Well just like you complain about those people on to don't represent the majority of the remain voters in the same way the racists posting noticed on schools telling immigrants to leave doesn't represent all of the leave voters.
Good and bad and extremes on both sides.
But it would help people's perceptions if leave voters could actually say what they voted for rather than just saying " we won, out is out, deal with it, your negativity will make it all fail"
I recognise the vote was for out and I want to deal with where we go from here but I'm getting nothing from you guys
I 100% agree... Where is the media in reporting these confrontations? Often aggressive or intimidating and abusive? Ohhh yes... Doesn't fit their narrative to demonize all leave voters as racist brain dead buttwipes. But not complaining.
I've already said it. Most people voted out because of one of two things (word most) 1) immigration and 2) ostensibly the £10bn-£20bn we send to the EU yearly (dependant on the figures and reasoning) behind it. I personally voted primarily because of democracy and secondly because I saw the totalitarian dictatorship power of the EU with Greece. Anyone who thinks that situation was right in any way shape or form imo should be reflecting that if it was 80yrs ago they would be on a certain side in a world war.
Ignoring it is fine of course but agreeing with it is shameful.
You want to know where we go?
Step 1) Article 50 invoked
Step 1a) Claim our seat at the WTO
Step 2) Begin to negotiate with the EU
Step 3) Begin talks with China, India, the US, Brazil and South Africa
Step 4) Open talks with Russia as a responsible and grown up nation and realize these sanctions are illegal under WTO law (of which Russia is a member)
Step 5) Invest finances in our young people for University
Of course people in other places need support but I feel this will take care of itself with the exception of Spain who seem to be mighty irritated by the British despite being blind to the fact they are in their predicament precisely because of the EU. Still, revolution comes when you realize who is your "enemy"
