Afternoon,

I'm off to Barcelona tomorrow with the other half and wanted to know peoples suggestions on what to do / where to eat?

We're only there till Thursday so got 4 days to fill!

Thanks.

Tour the Camp Nou, if your a football fan its awesome but you may find it interesting none the less.

Find this seat, it's under where all the reporters sit

Seriously watch the pickpockets. I only ever took the cash I need or was happy to lose and one credit card that I could cancel. Everything else stayed locked up.

The Sagrade Familia the Gaudy inspired Cathedral is worth the money of a visit and pay for the audio guide.

The Picasso museum in the old town is good too.

I really enjoyed the tour bus it gets you around the city and up close to a lot of Gaudy designed buildings. The Nou Camp is a good hike out of town on the bus so I reckon it's only for footie lovers personally.

The central market off Las Ramblas is great a true wonder an absolute must.

I'd buy the a guide to Barcelona because the restaurant scene seems to move so swiftly that between visits (2 or3 years) I was finding restaurants I liked were closing and being replaced. Whilst the tourist traps were still the same.

Definitely do the open top bus tours. We found it great in Barcelona, even better than it other cities where we've done them.

We saw so many things (like buildings with amazing architecture/artistic features) that we wouldn't have bothered to visit if we were going around the city on our own. It also took us quite a long way out of the city to see Neu Camp and the views which again, we wouldn't have bothered with otherwise.

Well, if you do find yourself in Mogadishu, definitely don't do anything with the gf. Liable to get yourself flogged, and not in the fun way!
