DPD Driver.

DPD leave your parcels in wheelie bins as a safe place then take and upload a photo of said parcel in the wheelie bin as proof. Only problem is every wheelie bin in town looks the same and the wheelie bin in question wasn't mine.

Their GPS tracking is pretty spot on though so it's easy for them to see once you've complained.

I'm quite surprised that most of you know your drivers. How do you even get time to talk to them they are always in a hurry!

When you get deliveries every week and it's same driver we get to know them quite well and vice versa.

We have 2 DPD drivers depending on the time slot and both are spot on.

I did complain but the zero IQ guys on the other end of the phone (got passed around a few times) didn't have a clue where they had left it.

Only got parcel back in the end after the very puzzled wheelie bin owner found it and brought it round a few days later.

I've never spoken to the guys on the phone but the email support was spot on when I had to use it the other week.

Bit like the old guy who delivers parcels for Next, Burton, Sports Direct, etc, out of a Ford Fiesta. I see him down my street every week. :D

Our DPD guys are very good and I wish some of the other companies had ones that were up to their standard.

Seriously, dpd are the better ones. Myhermes driver couldn't even be bothered to go next door, so chucked the boxes over the 1.5m gate onto the paving. Luckily there wasn't anything too delicate in there. Even the parcel note literally said 'over the gate'.

DPD have always been awesome with me, local guy is Dan. They've never messed up a delivery, the tracking has always been spot on.

I would always happily pay a premium to use DPD.

The anger in the OP is quite sad. You got your parcel, he was doing his job. Get a grip man. My DPD driver will try a second time if i'm not in and then leave it with my neighbour. I barely know my neighbour but I'll take parcels for them and likewise.

Anger?..come on..i dont get "Angry" over a parcel,I was merely sharing my concern for the drivers lack of safety for my parcel and that he was in such a damn rush he couldn't wait 20 seconds for me to get downstairs.

Thread is old now anyway,Not sure why it was even bumped.
