Your First Job

washing cars. Made 14 quid one saturday at £1 a pop !
Market stall setting it up in the mornings before school then taking it down in the evening.
Terrible pay considering.

I worked on Sundays and Thursday evenings selling computers for a large department store chain. Got £12 per hour (as Sundays were double time) for it back in 2003 and an annual bonus of between 11% and 13% of all earnings accrued in that year.

First job was a Tesco shelf-stacker.

First "proper" job was an IT dogsbody for a small consulting company.

Current job 20 years later is an IT dogsbody for a large consulting company :D

Waiter assistant in a pub at 13-14(cleaning tables). No pay but for a couple of hours of work I got an hour
(sometimes more) of free play on the arcade games they had there: Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, King of Dragons and Contra. Worth it!

Started my first job a few months ago at the age of 34. SHO doctor in oncology. I think I'm paid £14.50 per hour but I do at least 3 unpaid hours per day.

Paper round when I was 11. Got paid £13 a week. Worked in a shop when I was 13 too and got paid £4 an hour cash in hand. Had over £200 a month to play with back then. Haven't been as rich since. 1993....
