Well worth a watch.

Yep, a good watch definitely. (its a treasury committee meeting with legal and other expert advisers)
Many gems there, eg this @0:10

lol really?
That is the video. At about 11.44 there's a good bit where the panel is asked about what the EEA entails (the list is lol, when considering Brexiteers see it as preferable to the EU)/if the emergency brake is a reasonable possibility/etc. I'd encourage everyone to watch at least that section.
I'm just watching this now. The bit about delegating so much power from Parliament to the executive if very worrying if we were to plug the gaps in domestic legislation.
You cannot swim for new horizons until you have courage to lose sight of the shore.

Never was anything great achieved without danger.
If you dare nothing, then when the day is over, nothing is all you will have gained
Maybe sometimes it's riskier not to take a risk. Sometimes all you're guaranteeing is that things will stay the same.

Its scary. The bits after 12:00 where they basically say if "you arent at the table, you are on the menu"
So EEA seems totally worse than what we had now.
So basically the Government have the choice now between EEA which they admit on the select committee wont delivery what people voted for or just wing it and go WTO.
If you are going to sign up to EEA, IMO you may as well ignore the referendum and keep us in the EU. Lesser of two evils.
I assumed it was an investment tip regarding commodity pricing.
I think this has been the case since everything started but it's worrying that many people (Not everyone I know) are willing to leave the EU and not join the EEA for the sake of "immigration". Again I think such as decision is too great for the general public to comprehend and understand the repercussions of leavingIts scary. |Really? because I work for a construction company and cement is in short supply and has been for a few years which has resulted in 10% price increase each year.
SO now you are suggesting exporting something which we can't make enough off for the UK industry?
Imports have risen massively over recent years and last year was 1.5 million tonnes imported. SO I guess we import it and then export it?

The UK cement industry was killed off 20-30 years ago my man we were market leaders, Subtle EU regulation that favored southern EU countries saw to that. The UK's cement industry was the first casualty of the EU power grab.
Ignore the ignorance in the post above, cement is my expertise and the main reason I waited 20 years for my opportunity to vote out.
This day has been long due imo.
But we get dragged along as wellIf you work constructiom and you brileave in Britain going it alone, let's see where you are at in a year or two. Good luck by the way.

What about mass job cuts? How much will you be donating to those in need?

What job cuts?
Why do I care if you lose your job?
I have a saying and it goes with all my mottos, *`em I will survive no matter what!
Is that a selfish attitude? Maybe but is Pro EU a selfish attitude? Maybe....
See swings and roundabouts and no one has the answer on either side.
