Summer Transfer Window 2016/17 - Rumours & Signings

Mind you, on the plus side, he scored 11 goals last season. So if he can score 11 whilst going missing 90% of the time, even if we only manage to reduce that to him going missing 80% of the time, it would still mean 22 goals for the season. Which would be good and imagine if we could reduce it to lower than that, would be an even better goal return !

Don't get me wrong he is a good player but not what a poor team like Newcastle need :p

I don't see Liverpool getting top 4 not because they haven't strengthened (Mane is a cracking player) just simply because on paper I think others have strengthened more. Doesn't always work out like that though.

I honestly couldnt predict the top 4 this year - you've got to say that it'll be 4 from Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Utd, Spurs, Liverpool or Leicester - but as to which 4 christ only knows.

Still no Arsenal transfer news, I'm getting twitchy.

Don't see Leicester near the top 4

My gut says this order:

Man United
Man City
Spurs
Arsenal
(Chelsea)

I genuinely think the purchase of Pogba and whether Maureen plays Fellaini or Valencia will decide whether we challenge or fight it out for 3rd/4th.

Get the feeling Pep will need a season to bed in his philosophy and to buy a few more of his players, they've been relatively quiet all things considered.

Firmino is inconsistent, Sturridge is a crock, Ings is unproven and Origi is crap

Since coming back from injury Sturridge has been fine under Klopp and is in full training as we speak...he'll be fine.

Firmino inconsistent ? He was the most dangerous player in the league in the second half of the season in his first season in the league! Origi isn't crap at all and Ings is a back up striker who has looked very promising for us thus far.

You're talking absolute nonsense.

Thats just wrong Im afraid, but even so Liverpool will still be dangerous - and without any euro games they will be well rested every weekend.

Arsenal and City will definitely be in the top four but as to the other two spaces get occupied by it could be any of Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, possibly Leicester but somehow I think they will be 7ish next may - but it will be a real bunfight between those four for 2 places
