It wouldn't be a bad excuse... for Kimi, Vettel, Max and others, as you say Rosberg never got remotely close enough. Even getting stupid close to Hamilton due to a lock up near to the end in S3 so he should have been under half a second into the start-finish straight he didn't even manage with drs to attack him there.

Embarrassing for Rosberg to say that, if you're stuck up under half a second from the guy ahead for 10 laps you can say you can't pass, but barely ever being within a second for more than 1/4 or a lap and the guy ahead of you is just cruising... lol.

Hmm, Max just admitted fault there without realising it. Said he saw him coming on the inside so he turned into the inside to block him, so not just to take the racing line into the corner. That was thus a second move. Just seen it again and Max definitely moved to the inside to block him - it wasn't the normal racing line into that corner
