Check to see if its hidden in the glovebox or something daft, I've been in a few fords where they've been in 'novel' locations.

Good deal for 385 though.

Also check by the handbrake or down in the "change pot" or drinks holder if it has one.

My mums is behind her handbrake on her Astra and mine is by my change pot in my fiesta.

Not a bad car for about three fiddy tho ;)

thanks guys, it is indeed in glovebox, what a silly place. still better than no input.

I think the idea was you put your iPod and leave it there out of sight, out of thief's eyes.

Car was built before the widespread use of smart phones, back in early 2000's when iPods were all the rage.

I could be wrong but iirc the first car to have a dedicated aux input for an ipod was the BMW 1 series in December 2004. I bought one because of it. The first brand new car I had ever spent my hard earned on (still driving a 1 series now actually- I'm on my 3rd)

Pretty sure my old 1992 Renault 19 had an aux in on the factory fit head unit if that counts :)

Obviously wasn't designed specifically for an iPod, probably more a cd Walkman!

How old is it? My astra which is 2008 doesn't even have aux input, can't be fitted either unless you take out the whole radio system and fit a younger version in.
