Worst pain you've experienced?

Nothing that bad, broken nose, broken bones in hand, cracked ribs (that sucked for several years while playing as a goalkeeper though).

Only real "oh my god let me die now" experience was 11 hours on a bus with no toilet in India before being told I had dysentry. I thought I was going to explode after about 4 hours, by the end I was both doubled up and unable to move for fear of what might happen.

Ok not the worse pain but funny. Tonight I went running a training session with my running club got about 3 km into a hill session and suddenly the oh...... I need the toilet and not a number 1. Lucky for me a sport club is close by I know it has a toilet but picture the scene of the toilet from trainspotting and your not far off. Anyway I have no option and hover over the horrible toilet and drop the bombs.......To then notice there is no loo roll

Now before hand I had told the club to carry on and I would catch them up as I know the route. So with no option I now stuck in a toilet with nothing to wipe with  so I tear the cardboard toilet roll and make the best I can which seems feels like sandpaper. Finished I make my way out of the loo feeling like I need domestos bleach to clean myself with.

As I turn the corner the whole group stood giving me a slow clap :(. Now i'm told we have heading to the hills with what feels like the worst Japanese flag in my pants :o I was hoping to sneak away and head home but no instead I run the next 8 km up hills feeling completely ruined. For anyone new to running you always make sure you go to the toilet before a run and hills always put extra pressure on the low downs.

So now sat on a pillow at home thinking man that was a terrible run and the whole way run feeling like sandpaper between my butt cheeks.....Well I hope this made you laugh in some OCUK style. I'm now wishing my boiler wasn't broken as I need a soak in the bath and my power shower just isn't enough :(:(:(:(

Testicular tortion... don't look it up unless you want nightmares... apparently most people vomit from the pain being so bad :S

Had this when I was about 12, my god I have never cried so much. Had a push bike incident, ended up hitting the crown jewels. Then strait to A+E and surgery.

Ulcerative colitis. Worst pain I have ever experienced. Internal bleeding while the lining of your colon is stripped away by ulcers.

Good times!

I suffered for 3 years before being diagnosed....Not the NHS's fault. I'm a bloke and kept putting it off.

The intense burning when opening bowels was nasty......Bowels that you open 30-40 times a day..

Still no pain like kidney stones though. Although stones now gone UC is for life.

I have Chrohn's which can be unsurprisingly bad. Have had kidney stones which were different but similarly intense, but the worst pain I've had would be the two discs that decided to eject themselves inwards into my spinal cord, which has taken me 7 years to recover from.

I'd kill for some toothache :D

I once lived off apples and water for around 6 weeks due to my work messing me around with my wages.

I was already on a diet to lose a little bodyfat but this just accelerated 10 fold with some very bad side effects.

My gall bladder filled up with around 40 stones, Blocked some tubes, Bile built up and then over the course of around 2 months slowly ate away my gall bladder, Half my pancreas and 1/3 of my liver, The pain only kicked in after a few weeks.

2 and a half necrotic organs is the most painful thing I have ever experienced, I've broken bones and other various things but this pain was nightmarish.

well not nearly as bad as some in this thread, but took an 8mm radio aerial inbetween two ribs, I backed onto it with a fair pace while hunched over and tensed, it went directly between two ribs and while not being enough to pierce the skin floored me instantly and I couldn't breath for a few mins.

No lasting damage but got a decent 8 inch round bruise for a few weeks and some serious pain while moving, but like i said nothing like some have said here.

Manage to pick up hand, foot and mouth disease (not related to foot and mouth) from my son via his nursery. Apparently children only experience light symptoms whilst it can be excruciating in adults. I can absolutely confirm that.

Hands and feet came out in bright red spots, were uncontrollably itchy and felt like they were on fire constantly. Didn't sleep for 2 days and 2 nights, not a wink. Tried all sorts and nothing gave even the slightest relief from it. Awful.

Had lots of broken bones, ribs, 2 collar bones thigh bone and broken radius but the worse ever pain was due to bad wisdom teeth, mega headache with numbness down the arms.
Never had it again since they were took out, that was also pretty bad.

Pancreatitis was intense.
Ulcerative colitis has had it's moments.
Numerous small bowel obstructions that get progressively worse over a 24 hour period.
Waking up after having my colon removed to find the spinal block didn't work.

Sheesh, some posts here that makes me wince just reading it. Maybe a slipped disc is not so bad after all.

Went to doctor and could barely walk into his office. He could tell right away what was going on. Asked me if I could bend forward and touch my toes ... I chuckled and said that I didn't come here to be trolled by my doctor (I know him quite well) and he just laughed. I can just about stand up without crutches, there's nothing else I can do.

Booked off for a week, Codeine prescription and told to take it easy. Using this time to catch up on some coursework and gaming. Not all bad really :)

Hmm, there's a few things.

I had severe sinusitis for a week once where half my face was so painful, it was just like really bad toothache but all over that half and there was nothing that would touch the pain.

I've had two cases of pericarditis which is where my stupid immune system decides to pump the sack around my heart full of fluid, the first time I didn't know what it was so it felt like a heart attack, at least the 2nd time I knew that I probably wasn't dying. Basically unless its bad enough for surgery the fluid has to go away on its own so I literally spent weeks not being able to lay down or breathe deeply until it slowly got better.

My mates wife left for work and he got up slipping a couple of discs.
He then spent the rest of the day on the floor poo'ing and wee'ing himself in agony until she got home.
He said his phone was just out of reach and he couldn't move.

Gout was an horrendous experience. I was on holiday when I suffered my first attack and my foot swelled up like a balloon. Red, raw and constant sharp stabbing pain. It was awful. The lady that saw me in the hospital said that gout is about as intense as labour, so food for thought guys ;)

I injured my back at the weekend. The symptoms are similar to a slipped disc and I may go to the doctors if it doesn't get better in a few days. But I can understand the pain your mate was in. I've really struggled to get up the last few days. Tying my shoe lace is near impossible. I literally can't bend over.

Reading some of moronic, small minded, "SEND THEM BACK!" comments in the brexit thread. "Little England" people give me a headache.
