*** The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Thread ***

I dunno....the more I see this the more I want it! I was so against it at first with the weak (compared to the rumor mill) specs but I may actually bite! Depends on how much it costs now....

So that's it then, no mention of price?

I kinda want one now...

I have decided i will be getting one.

It all depends on how much Three will try and charge per month for one. (need the unlimited data)

If its £45 per month and the phones free im all ears.

If it come in around £650 (although I think it will be more like £700) with a free gift that I can sell on for £150 (gear 2) I might easily be persuaded to order one SIM free.

I've no interest in buying it on contract, so won't be persuaded if that's where the gifts will be free.

Already have my gear fit 2 so if it comes with that I will be able to sell on! £700 seems to be a bit steep though...

I will take one and hope we do get some free gifts.

Now to spend two weeks deciding on the colour!

Some of the US carriers, the cost for phone and contact is coming in at $850 (£638) for 24 month plan, with a free gear 2 or SD card.

Not knowing anything about how it works over there, I assume it must be a lot cheaper than contract deals in this country? I'd have said even with $=£ a £850 24 month contract with free gift would have been rather amazing.

Yeah you have to be really lucky to get a decent deal on a contract these days. Not like 3 years ago where you could pick up a flagship phone with a decent data/call allowance for £30 a month.. :(

Hence I've stopped bothering, and aim for SIM free phones.

Whilst I pay £14 a month for unlimited data on 3, I'm not giving it up for a contract phone.

Hence the popularity of the £300-£400 market I guess.

Generally I think they pay a lot more in the US for phones and contracts. I believe an average contract is $400 for the phone and $100 a month...

For those looking to pay the full purchase price can expect to shell out around $750 while those looking for an unlocked Galaxy Note 7 it’ll set you back around $1000

Really disappointed, it's basically S7 with s pen, not even better than OnePlus 3 which is possibly less than half the price.

I've had Note 2 and Note 4 and was always massively impressed how much better it is not only over s7 but any other competition. Specs and tech were always extremely ahead of anything else. This isn't even better than phones that came out last year. Ridiculous...

Also, non removable battery? I haven't owned a single phone which didn't need battery raplacing after 1-2years. Even if you upgrade, you won't be able to sell it with dead battery.

Being reported that we will be offered a choice between a free Gear VR and a 256GB microSD card for pre-orders in the UK.
