its 600£+ block

and no...no soldering. Liquid metal did the job

I started trying to OC my Strix Gaming 1080GTX today and I've managed to get a stable 2012 core and 5350 mem clock

He does have a glh, the best overclocking 1080 you can buy with cherry picked Gpus

When this was sub 600 it was a bargain compared with the £80 more expensive and slower strix.

The 1080FE cards are now starting to sell 2nd hand here. Saw one last night for just under £500, a month old. Toyed with buying it before I came to my senses. Fancied trying SLI but then realised it'll only be to push Witcher 3 to a solid 60FPS. Not paying that for one game. Then there's the thing where my motherboard is not set up for SLI, nor is my PSU.

Lucky I stopped drinking and went to bed. Otherwise the postman wild be doing his usual Tuesday deliveries to the office

I wouldn't worry. Around +500 or more and memory correction starts kicking in. Performance can actually be worse plus it won't be doing the vram any good.

Love my 1080

I got my Gigabyte Xtreme 1080 Premium Pack a couple of days ago and have been trying it on many different games. I am yet to find a game that can't be by it. Games run very smoothly in 4K and surprisingly it's very quiet even under full load. In summary I am very happy with it

Anyone got a clue what this is (besides being a 1080)? Came across it on the "rainforest", doesn't seem to have any kind of third party branding whatsoever :confused:

Apparently its dispatched form china so some random third party that doesn't seem to sell to the uk.
