£10 gets you in the gates (per person, £8 if you book in advance)
£25 to sign on to run up the strip (£33 with entrance fee if you book in advance)

Cars finishing at 110mph+ require a helmet

There is a Shell Garage here which you more than likely pass on your way into the area (If coming from the A14 there is one as you come off the A14 onto the A45)

Pod is nearly 2 hours for me, hardly local :D

Coventry is not much over an hour I presume, so nice and easy.

I'd love to be going to Shakespeare instead, but the dates are sparse.

Quite possble, a proper drag strip is sticky (Think pulls shoes off your feet at an MSA/FIA drag event)
