B Grade 980ti

This could easily be one of the ones I sent back. If you plan on watercooling then it's not a block you want to use. You can get a universal block but you'll still need to find a way to cool the vrm. While this could work for just 1 card, if you have them in SLI it'll just make your rig look too busy/messy.

Only B grade reference ones there are the OCUK ones which are I beleive Zotac, but with 90 day warranty I'd be better holding out and buying a second hand EVGA.

Should be balance of manufacturer warranty though.
 
Alphacool has blocks for all pcb's and if they don't have one for your gpu they will make one for you free of charge as long as you send them your card so they can make block for it.
 
Never really been a fan of the aesthetics for the Alphacool blocks, plus with SLI you'd have to have some really difficult bends.

It's just a core only block though with a dirty great heatsink attached to it.
 
I've bought B grade cards twice. Both faulty.
Won't fault ocuk though, money was refunded straight away so it's not much of a risk more of a hassle if they don't work.
 
This is what worries me, how can you sell a card that is faulty, if it was returned for a reason did it not get tested. A pretty poor show if that's what they do. Nice to see they sorted it out though.
 
I have seen this with other shops that don't specialise in items but would have though that returned cards would have been tested
 
Cheers for the reply, due to the price drop tomorrow I don't think it's worth the hassle, problem being is I am at work when the price drops lol, hey ho such is life.
