It looked like you were complaining to me about the Guardian.
Lol are you the forums complaints dept?

It is not ignoring, it is reassessing a decision based on new evidence. If the majority voted to stay and EU imploded, and dragged UK economy with it, similar type of reassessing would be due.
Putting head in the sand and saying "la-la-la, I don not see any harm being done by Brexit/EU implosion" IS beyond undemocratic, it is utterly stupid.
what `new evidence` - project FEAR is still going strong.
What evidence?
The UK is the equivalent of a heroin addict at the minute, totally dependent on one thing and who's entire existence is geared to getting more smack, at any cost.
We've voted to get clean but now we need to figure out if we're going cold turkey or the methodone route. Both with be rough for a bit, one will be rougher but shorter than the other.
This smacks of making up anecdotes designed to reassure yourself.

So lets get this straight your accusing me of making things up because they don't fit with your perception?
I live in an area that voted quite highly for leave. The very local area to me has a high level of foreign nationals, they aren't your typical though as they are mainly american service, but even so we had a few incidents locally that were clearly a reaction of a few idiots (no need to guess which way they voted). never been any trouble before this point.
I work some miles away in another area that voted highly for leave, yet they suffer pretty low immigration here. This is where most of the people making the worst views were heard, over lunch as it happens in the canteen.
So making up anecdotes no, seeing some of the Brexiteers for what they are, guilty as charged. I dont believe all are that stupid but certainly some of the most idiotic people on the site I work at were vocal leave campaigners.
Funniest one I heard was from ones quoting that the immigrants are supressing wages, this from basically unskilled labour who earn more than the average wage (market benchmarking places them well above market rate due to historical wages)
So don't assume.
Still just anecdotes, mayte. I can do them too; I know loads of people who wanted to vote Leave but were scared off by the implication of war. All the Remainers I’ve spoken too are Nazi Satanists who regret voting Remain.Rofl

The problem is, you don't know if they even voted.
So don't assume.
Anecdotal evidence is evidence from anecdotes. Where only one or a few anecdotes are presented, there is a larger chance that they may be unreliable due to cherry-picked or otherwise non-representative samples of typical cases.
...
Misuse of anecdotal evidence is an informal fallacy and is sometimes referred to as the "person who" fallacy ("I know a person who..."; "I know of a case where..." etc.

Why your anecdotes are worthless.
I remember on the day after the vote a I saw a Romanian family skinned alive on my street, it was mental!

The surge in anti-immigrant hate crimes seen after the EU referendum was particularly intense in areas of the country that strongly voted Leave, an investigation by The Independent has found.
Disturbing new figures drawn directly from local police forces’ databases show consistent doubling and tripling of relevant hate crimes in the most Eurosceptic parts of Britain. They go even further than the average 57 per cent nationwide increase in hate crimes reported by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) in the aftermath of the referendum.

Sigh. I have no idea whatsoever why you brought the Guardian into things.
