Re the Mustafi situation, Valencia need to well due to FPP rules although they would rather keep Mustafi than sell him. They want 30mill for him, I have a feeling if we do sign him...the fee will be in the region of 27-28mill with perhaps add-ons etc.

But as Rids said earlier, we are our own worst enemy. Leaving signings till the last minute due to injuries and therefore teams we want to buy from are rubbing their hands on glee at the thought of them shafting us for the players we want.

Lacazette is nowhere worth 50mill, not a gnats chance in hell but if we want him, we have to pay the price Lyon want for him. There's no point in us trying to lowball them, they will just laugh at us and we end up losing out as per usual.

Who do I blame for this?? Wenger without a doubt, he knows what we need players wise but refuses to act early and leaves us in a dire position when our players get injured.

Now Iwobi is out for at least a mth, it just never ends does it?? :/.

Does proper suck to be a arsenal fan, guess it is worse being Ozil or Sanchez and having to go back to that team though......

Lol team is fine with just a few additions ie striker namely but doesn't seem likely to happen.

Just read that our 16mill bid for Evans has been rejected. Good he's useless and not worth 16mill.

All Wenger needs to do is pay up for Mustafi...simples but for Wenger it isn't :p
 
I stopped watching Arsenal Fan Tv on YouTube as it was just embarrassing.

Seems to be Liverpool and us catching a hell of a lot of flack at the moment. We need a few wins to divert attention somewhere else.
 
I can't believe how many players are out there that we don't take advantage of.
We should get our business done early like when we bought Ospina and Sanchez. Wenger/Arsenal would rather haggle over 2/3 million when they could be the difference between 0 and 1 point, or 1 and 3 points in a game, leading to a possible title.. which is worth far more.

You missed the point that Martial and Rashford are hopefully at the club for 10 years or so, even if Zlatan is here until the end of next season that still leaves a good 8 years after that.

It also depends on who is available in the market when the time comes, it may be a lot easier / beneficial for Utd to get a left winger than a CF for whatever reason.

Given how hard Utd are pushing Pogba (from an advertising point of view) it will be interesting to see how quickly they totally swap from Rooney to him. In the same two years I would expect Rooney if it hasnt already happened for playing reasons to be not so crucial to the 1st XI.

By the end of this season we will also know whether Depay is capable of dealing with the EPL or not. He is still young, so if this season is as much of a success as the last he may well go out on loan away from the spotlight to adjust better (or be sold out right).

Mustafi didn't look so good at the Euros, I doubt unless you watch Valencia regularly we can possibly comment if he's worth 30m.

At least Evans is an established PL defender and Pulis knows how to setup a defence and names him his best player, albeit in a WBA team...
 
Has Jonny Evans ever actually played a full season in the prem though? Bar maybe last season.

He might have been in the prem all his career but he's still not good enough for a top club.
