EVGA DG-8 Cases

Well, doesn't look like it's coming today... EVGA site is showing as shipped, but I haven't received any tracking information...

Hoping for tomorrow now as my EK predator is on Saturday DPD delivery.
 
Reading the EVGA forums no one seems to know whats going on.

We have all looked at our accounts and seen that's it's been shipped yet no one has a tracking number and a few members have contacted EVGA and received messages like "Estimated to ship within 3 days" from their phone hotline - I assume that was from today, it was posted today and another member emailed their EU support and received "Hi, thanks for the detailed information - will be send through UPS, but we don´t have it currently - should get posted as fast as possible through your profile, probably on Monday latest,

That's verbatim from the forum, not my spelling mistakes and again posted today so I assume the message was received today so who knows.

Basically it sounds as though the case hasn't actually shipped yet, maybe monday.

Quite a few people getting annoyed with the situation.

I love the look of the case and have done since I first saw it. Just not in the market for buying one right now as I just bought a new case before this was announced

I will look into it again when I go water-cooling, but am dying to see some reviews from you guys when you get them (hopefully soon considering what I read above)

Wow, that's a bit of a joke if true. Was odd not having it delivered today as 'UPS Standard' is next day delivery...

Issues with this then and the fact that the evga 1080 hybrid on preorder is a bit of a ghost is really bad for EVGA...

I'm hoping to get a good few pictures taken during the building of mine, so i'll look to adding them here. Will also post my opinions after using it for a week or so :)

Yep. I stayed in today as well incase it arrived.

Someone mentioned that UPS standard doesn't deliver on Saturdays, I have no idea if that's true but if it is at least you can safely go out tomorrow but again no delivery.

There are a few pictures on EVGA's forum in the cases section but not many yet.
 
EVGA have been hilariously bad as of late, be it card availability, hybrid kit availability and now they have issues telling people when their cases will arrive despite them sending it.
 
Honestly the only thing bugging me is not knowing and having to stay in just in case.

I'm not actually going to build my new PC until the first week of September so I'm in no rush but the lack of tracking and not knowing....

We will get it definitely sometime next week and £50 cheaper than retail so I'm fairly happy overall.

It's bloody typical that it's the evga hybrid and the evga case that I have both ordered :D

What are your plans for the case? Full loop?

I should have specified, that I plan to get this case when I go for a full w/c loop inc gfx cards etc so am particularly interested in seeing those reviews as well as any others :D

For myself the main plan is water-cooled, but not in a loop. Seperate AIO systems is my plan. I am not a huge fan of full loops myself.

For the CPU I have the EKWB Predator 360 arriving tomorrow from Overclockers, where I am hoping to pop at the top of the case with the 3x vardar fans included with that for now (Hoping to then purchase an extra 3 vardar's after a while for push/pull).

I have noctua industrial fans planned for the front of the case for intake.

For the GPU I am waiting patiently (Losing that patience now) for the EVGA 1080 Hybrid, where I will also put on a couple of Vardar fans in push/pull in one of the rear fans slots of the case.

In the future I plan on adding a second 1080 Hybrid also to put in the back, again with push/pull.
 
Well, looks like my case still hasn't been 'shipped'. No email or tracking number showing anywhere...

How is it that EVGA are screwing things up so much recently?
 
Someone from the Netherlands got theirs today via TNT (not UPS Standard as stated), no tracking number, no account update and no email.

Hi guys

Scotty thanks for alerting me to this, sorry didn't think to check the case forum yet. Guess another forum I need to monitor now.

I can confirm, those of you who have paid for your pre-orders now stocks have started to ship from our UK distribution centre on Monday and Tuesday this week. I was hoping for tracking from them tonight but guess it will come tomorrow.

Please don't worry they will be with you very soon. As you have all pointed out, the case in very heavy :) So we needed to use a UK distribution centre to ship the goods so took us a few extra days than those shipped in Europe.

Please expect some tracking emails from us in the next 24 hours.
