Mine was collected last night and due for delivery today, DPD says its still in transit to my local depot. knob'eads.
Iirc my s6 offers were in galaxy apps.
Seems like I got lied to by the Sales guy in CPW, my sim free phone I pre ordered back on the 15th Aug doesn't come with a gear VR, not only that but my phone hasn't arrived in store either - they reckon it might turn up tomorrow.
Looks like it will be an interesting conversation with the Manager as I could have pre ordered with Samsung direct and got the gear VR free - that's if the phone does arrive tomorrow

If all the CPW ones are running late, I might just buy one in the US. (Flying there Friday morning, CPW due for Click and Collect Wednesday when ordered) According to http://willmyphonework.net/ every US carrier's device will work on EE's 4G...
Can't decide on whether to get this Note 7 or just get a standard S7.
Don't necessarily need one, just have an itch for a new phone. Currently have a Note 4, said I was going to go with a smaller sized screen next time, so S7 would be good but I don't know, arghghghhg.

Looks like it! The order status has changed to "Shipped" and I also received an email from Samsung that it has been shipped. Got a tracking number but its still not showing as a valid number on UK Mail. I expect that'll change in a couple of hours time.
P.S. Samsung said they ship all preorders as Next Day Delivery, so if UK Mail behaves, its on course for delivery tomorrow
Well my wife like's her new phone, shes impressed with the FPS, Camera and Pen. A substantial upgrade from her Note 3.
My views...it's nice and all but not my cup of tea. A bit too Samsungy if you catch my drift. I prefer the Oneplus 3/Nexus style and design. Though there's no denying the Note 7's SCREEN AND CAMERA ARE EPIC.

Anyone upgraded from a note 5 here? Some initial thoughts would be nice to know
Well... It's got to be said, the phone is pretty good, although I am missing some features from my previous Sony's.
I do feel a little bit ripped off by Samsung. I didn't mind when I thought there was a free case and the VR when it was £50 dearer than elsewhere. The case was a complete disappointment (because it wasn't a bloody case!!!!!) and must have cost them an extra 50p to throw it in. The VR is a complete waste of time (only just had time to open the box and try it out), I will need to use it a little bit more - but so far the novelty factor lasted about 30 seconds. If it was integrated with the phone, it may be another story and could be useful (if the image quality was better that is), but having everything restricted to Oculus it's a bit naff. I would have expected that the ability to watch Amazon Prime, Sky Go or even YouTube would be a given - but nope...

YouTube can be. Obviously Netflix can be. Amazon don't play with others... no idea what Sky do, I wouldn't be holding my breath for them though.
VR is a novelty thing, but one I like, but many others don't. If it's not your thing, simply sell it on nice and cheap to one of us that perhaps won't get one, but would have liked one
