Even if the rumours about him spending half the season in Germany last year aren't true (they probably are) it's not like Jose owes him anything. The man is a Bayern Legend not a Manchester United one, he barely even played half a season here.

Players become surplus to requirements all the time and nothing is said so i don't see how this is any different.
 
David Luiz is on his way to Chelsea for a medical.

Surprised Conte wants him, he's not a very Italian sort of defender...

Also surprised PSG are letting him go, especially at a loss.
 
Luiz isnt worth £20m let alone £32m. The guy has lots of personality and he will give you everything but he is not a great footballer.
 
So Chelsea buy Luiz for £21.4m in 2011, sell him for £50m 3.5 years later and now buy him back for £32m today? So a few (negative) million net, knowing Chelsea they'll probably sell him for profit again in a few years :p.
 
Luiz and Alonso bought by Chelsea then. To be honest, I think thats two good buys. Left Back (Yes Klopp..I am looking at you) and a Defensive minded midfield type. I think thats shrewd by Conte, shoring up that back area of the pitch.
