Man punches 5 day old baby in face o_0

I think it was more a reason than an excuse. Like an impulsive stupid moment which tragically went wrong when the guy couldn't tell a baked potato from a doll.

I was always terrified holding my kids as newborns, like the slightest little knock / strong gust of wind would be the end of them. Now I find out they could have taken a full on punch to the face :D

Almost sounds like regretful thinking there :D.

Yeah I'm always really nervous too, like I'm holding an expensive porcelain vase or something, but apparently they aren't THAT delicate. Though obviously if you punch one you could easily kill it

Five days out of hospital and already taken out to the shops. Really? Not impressed with that choice!

What are you on about? I'd feel for the Mum only 5 days out and walking about after labour - the baby is safe enough with the right gear

People seem to think that taking a newborn out of the house within the first few weeks is dangerous and irresponsible.

They'd probably have a mental breakdown if they ever found out how many people don't even have their babies at home in the first place!!

It is dangerous. I'm heard numerous reports from a friend of mine (children's nurse) on newborns who have been admitted back into hospital having caught infections from being taken out amongst others too soon.
