NVIDIA's promotion ends midnight this Saturday, that means on what stock we have left will return to the £350-£400 region, though right now our stocks are quite low (about 2-3 weeks at current run-rates), so we know they will sell. :)

However as NVIDIA are pushing sales promotion which ends midnight Saturday we obviously get some nice kickbacks from NVIDIA for Maxwell cards sold before midnight Saturday, so next week any Maxwell cards left in the channel will go up in price.

As such were doing one final push on Maxwell, particular 980 and 980Ti, 970 is not included because OcUK already has 970's from £155 and were selling 100+ per day at present.

To be honest, I wouldn't pay any more than £299 for a new 980ti now.

Which makes it all the more amusing to see people asking £300 for them second hand on the MM.

That's what I was thinking. Unless the price starts with a 2 I'm not going to be temped by a previous gen card now.

980 Ti still very capable and will be for a while yet
 
shame you coulddnt match the good branded 980ti price from the other place.

still £299 is better value than a 1070 or 1080 when you think how close the performance is.

6gb vram still good for 2-3 years at 1080-1440 unless buggy game.

There we are, £300 980ti's as expected. Took a bit longer than expected but got there in the end.

Not necessarily - it means they are getting rid of all the old gen stock ie. the same thing that happenes everytime.

So tempted with this having no gpu currently but every time I research into it I keep finding out its bad idea to buy old gen tech. But then 100+ 970's per week still being sold makes me think this is a perspective put forward by the forum that may not be such a big problem in practice.
 
If buying old gen your best going with AMD really.

Better dx12 and vulkan support, plus AMD support their cards for far longer. So performance doesn't tend to choke once the next gen arrives, like what happens on NVidia cards.

But a 980ti monsters anything amd have at this current price point. Even with vulkan, I cant see the likes of a 480 matching a 980ti
