Was it the same summer that he both sold KDB and tried to buy Rooney?

I was thinking earlier that the 2-0 was all the sweeter in that Mourinho got rid of KDB because likes having his known expensive stars and not trusting other players much. But that he's stuck with Rooney largely because of his attempts to buy a thoroughly average striker while at Chelsea is just so deliciously ironic.

Well atrocious performance. But considering how bad we were and how many players we started who were complete passengers. The fact we only lost 2-1 is pretty incredible. Imagine how well we could do if Mourinho would start a good first 11.
