McLaren have denied it, and there have been so many "Apple are buying x car company" stories that I'm not sure much credence is deserved until confirmed.

Nah, they'll just have a different filler adaptor, so you either need to use an Apple iPetrol station or buy a £799 adaptor to use normal petrol.

Also the lights/indicators will only work if your also in an apple car and you wont be able to communicate with other drivers.

and it wont come with a key, that's old tech, you unlock it with your seamless iphone integration (only compatible with iphone 7 and onwards)

Much as we joke, if this partnership is handled correctly then it could be really exciting. McLaren haven't made many road cars, but the ones they have from an engineering point of view have been sublime.

With Apple's money and their access to the market this could be amazing. As long as they leave McLaren to do the engineering.
