Which are the best sandwiches in your options,

lately i've been eating mostly flour based products (pizza, pasta, noodles ext), i'm currently on a sandwiches phase, I cant really have subways or the same everyday so I would like try different options.

Let me know your options, not much to them but if you have a recipe add it.

Chicken Salad
Cheese and Tomato with greens
Cheese and Pickle (or pickled onions sliced)

to name but a few on my favourites

po boy
bahn Mi
Reubens
fried chicken sandwhich
cheese toasty
tuna mayo baguette
burger
doner/gyro when done properly
pulled pork

Ham lettuce and tomato and a smidgen of a 50/50 mix of wholegrain mustard with mayo

Beef with red onions and a good sprinkle of sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper

Chicken and sweet gem lettuce

Freshly made white bloomer buttered and with 2 or 3 slices of properly cured and cooked back bacon, tomato sauce and a large cup of Yorkshire Gold tea.

Nom nom.

None of this fancy stuff, that said, I don't eat much bread, but, on rare occasions I do enjoy a crisp, or chip butty, yes I said that latter :p

Depends a lot on factors like quality and type of bread but in general (and in no particular order)

Cheddar, ham and mustard
BLT
Bacon, sausage and mushroom
Home-made crunchy tuna-mayo (tinned tuna in brine (drained), chopped red onion or spring onion, chopped green pepper, lots of freshly ground black pepper, only enough mayo to bind with out making sloppy)
Home-made cheesy egg mayo (grated mature cheddar, chopped boiled eggs, freshly ground black pepper, mayo to desired consistency)

Dijonnaise on a cheese loaf with roast beef, melted vintage gruyere and coleslaw on top of that.

Coronation chicken with sliced banana and radishes on wholegrain.

A simple tuna and salad cream on buttered thick white bread can be nice too.

In abit of a toasted sandwhich hase.

Spoonfull of beans, grated cheese, couple of shakes of woster sauce.

Beef, cheese

Blackpudding and sausage with brown sauce

ham and cheese

Oh man I miss sandwiches!! I used to love sandwiches but I've had to go gluten-free and no matter how many products I try (or how many numerous pounds per loaf they are) gluten-free bread is just rubbish and sandwiches made of it are jut not the same!!

Tuna, boiled egg, sweet chilli sauce, fresh coriander. On occasion, add red onion.

Or the traditional pub sandwich: 1cm thick slice of cheese + 1cm thick slice of onion. Love it.

Going through a bit of a toasted sandwich phase at the moment myself, I like the sound of this one so will give it a go.

As for me if it's breakfast then either:

Fresh white bread, buttered with crispy back bacon and depending on mood either ketchup or brown sauce or if going all out then white bread with back bacon, sliced sausage, fried egg with a little ketchup.

For lunches my favourites is classic Ham, Cheddar with Mayo or sometimes branston pickle. Another is Pastrami, Gruyère(maybe Emmental on occasion) and Cornichon with a little mustard mayo and finally a classic BLT.

My favourites include:

Cheese
Cheese and onion
Cheese and tomato
Cheese and cucumber
Cheese salad
Chicken salad
Salad
Egg and cress
Coronation chicken
Tuna and sweetcorn / mayonnaise
Tuna & mozzarella (melted)

The addition of crisps is a very nice touch also.
