Jeans

I can get almost a week from a pair of jeans if I don't spill my chicken madras on them. Unless they whiff in which case, straight in the washing machine.

If I can smell them as I enter the county next to the one I left them in, then probably about that time it's worth booking a slot with the machine....maybe a fews weeks forward.

I only wear them for a few hours after work and then weekends so probably 2-3 weeks.

If they look or smell dirty then obviously put them in the wash but I don't see the point in washing them after each use.

I wear same work trousers for 2 weeks (office job) and been fine doing that for 20 years.

*Turns thoughts back to why nobody will come over to my desk to talk to me*

Up to 2 weeks depending on weather and usage. Easy in the winter, but hot sweaty summers sees only a weekly wear befre washing.

If they are new, I'll wear them, albeit not constantly, for a few months assuming they don't get dirty in that time (ie, physical appearance of mud, seamen, pen, etc). Otherwise, a few hours each night maybe, for a few days.

I have a great debate with my girlfriend when she says I haven't washed my jeans for ages, she just doesn't get it, I even read her an article about how they shouldn't be washed unless they stink/are actually dirty but she has none of it.

If they are dirty (spills/dirt etc) they will be washed if not they go back in the wardrobe for another day.

You're doing it wrong if you are wearing jeans in summer.

This. Upto 2 weeks depending on if they start smelling.

I take it you've not spent much time in the UK during summer recently :P

I dunno, it got quite hot and sticky regardless this summer, FWIW I don't work in an air conditioned office so I just wore shorts to work, was too hot to walk home at night in jeans.

Am I missing something as I don't understand the problem with wearing jeans in summer?! :o

I hate getting all hot and sticky in jeans when it's hot, I guess if you work in an air conditioned office and drive it's not really that big a problem, but I don't and I walk to/from work so get hot then, no fun getting home being all hot and bothered.

I think it was like 2006 or 2008 or something the last time we had a summer where I seriously felt hot and sticky in jeans :S had the sum total of one day this year where it hit over 30C and got a bit uncomfortable sitting at the PC in jeans where I live.

I've had the same jeans on, for four days now.....

No, if the replies in here are the general consensus, i've been doing it wrong, i wear mine for no more than 2 days and i'm lucky to get a few hours out of a day!
