Call of Duty 2016 ( Infinite Warfare)

I got the legacy edition for £35 worth of clubcard vouchers when they did the boost promo. I'm in 2 minds even if at this price if its worth it.

I'm getting instakilled before I even get to aim and i'm usually pretty good at COD but the odd lobby I get in its like i'm invincible.

I thought I'd try this again for the second beta weekend. I notched up the rubbish of last weekend to launch issues. Buuuut the game is still absolutely awful. I'm still sinking half a clip into people and dying. Snipers are still an absolute nightmare. I might just get my copy, play the campaign and sell it.

Theonejat - just dropped you a message on Trust with a code attached. May not work, I cancelled my preorder but still got the codes sent through. My code worked so hopefully should be ok for friend codes

I think cod is dying mainly because of the lack of good classic maps, consistently bad hit detection and not enough focus on gun fights. Plus the never ending empty promises and various fabrications that come out as fact about each game. Of course the supply drop pay to win stuff hasn't helped. The franchise now is just a cash cow and there's no interest in making the experience and game better for anyone.

Played it for most of the day, it's just not fun. The maps, the guns, the equipment and grenades which get weirder with each release they don't add to the gameplay and in my opinion it's because the gameplay itself is broken. Most of the games I played in were full of people jumping, sprinting and sliding at high speeds with sniper rifles equipped. Fed up of watching kill-cams where I was quickscoped by someone fresh from sliding 10 metres on their rear.

The lack of imagination is stunning, they've gone all out on a future setting and the maps I played were a corridor map, a 'present day' recreation theme map and a remake of an old map from a previous version.

Sadly, I think the developers have very much found themselves in a niche with what must be a pretty large market of teenage gamers who like fast-paced continuous action. On that note I don't see them returning to WWII or modern day themes any time soon as they know they'll lose a good chunk of young gamers from their followers who'll dislike the slower, more tactical pace.

did that make a big difference?

Well, with game mode on, my TV is one of the best around you can get, so yeah, its a big difference.

I stuck the beta on a couple of hours ago, no surprise i had game mode off and died 5 times before i realized something was up.

Low input lag was a major factor in me buying the TV in the 1st place :D

The amount of quick scoping is unlike any other game i have had the displeasure of playing.

People are running and gunning with sniper rifles as if they are uzi's :D

I know COD 4 and the others after it had its fair share of QS'ers but its never been this easy.

So I had 4 games this morning and i'm not sure what to think. I was not overly impressed with any one thing, I don't think its particularly bad but something doesn't feel right and I can not put my finger on it.

Played this again last night and it was actually alright. IW must have tweaked some things as I could kill people fine. It was actually pretty good fun  The snipers are still a total annoyance though.

Ok so after another 10 or so games i've decided that while im not completely sold on it, it is still a beta and there is still time for changes to be made.

While I normally download direct from M$, this time im going to buy the legacy edition from an online retailer and hope the finished article is a bit better and COD 4 is ok.

Atleast buying a physical copy I have something to trade in and all is not lost if they both suck.

Well Drift0r has posted a video saying he doesn't like the game and he pretty much thinks its broken. I like Drift0rs channel because he is so honest, h makes his living from the game but he will always be honest.
