Beards have never been "In " and now they are and i'm suffering because mine is beautiful and thick and not weedy and thin? :mad:

I hate men that grow beards and are patchy...either join the game full on or disengage..

Don't get jealous of my beard people!
 
Damn straight, if you can't grow a proper beard shave it off.

No time for any of that bum fluff nonsense.
 
My patchy fluffmess will never be cool. It just refuses to get any thicker. :p :(

Trouble is I look 15 without it...

e; Having looked at a picture of myself 4 years ago, it is getting thicker actually, but very very slowly...

Well mine is basically a neckbeard with fluff on the cheeks, and I try and cut it all to the same length to disguise the awfulness, and it sorta half works. :p

How pathetic your beard is depends on the thickness of your leg hair. You might be a gorilla for all we know. :eek:
 
You get 3 kinds of bears:

1) the man beard. Wears normal clothes, isn't over fussed on fashionable labels and it's a proper man's beard.

2) The neat and tidy beard, normally worn by quiffy haired skinny jean wearing no socks with shoes types that are doing it to be fashionable.

3) The patchy unable to grow a proper beard beards. Normally jealous of those that can grow them.

I've always had stubble, then did a murder mystery and grew a smallish beard for the fancy dress part of the night, a couple of weeks growth, it's stuck around since then, maybe 18 months now at most.

Gets a little curly at the sides so trim it with hair clippers to grade 2 or 3, and comes down about an inch under the chin. Keep it neat-ish but I'm not overly fussed.

I've one ginger mate who can't grow one who every time it gets a trim and I get a hair cut he makes a hipster comment but on the whole people like it.

You get women commenting on it or randomly coming up and stroking it in a pub but it's men that like it more, every time I go out drinking you get blokes walking past going "nice beard" etc, or in one case, another bearded bloke just shouting "BEARD!!!!!!" across the pub and then comes over, starts stroking it and talking about caring for it.

It also got me the nickname "the bear" at work.

It's at the point now where I don't know if I could shave it off...

I need to make me some beard balm too.

Trim it short every few weeks but other than that it's free to grow how it likes. :p

I never understand the trim to an info of the chin crew. Either have a beard or not. Don't just do a half beard, bushy on the face and none on the chin. Keeping it trimmed is fine but shaving half of it off is weird.
 
I cut my hair and beard once a month. I shave my head and my beard to a zero using some hair clippers at the start of each month and leave them to grow naturally until by the end of the month they are both quite thick. I don't really bother to trim it apart from the tash which I have to trim otherwise I end up eating hair when I eat.

I really should start taking care of myself because by the end of the month I look pretty awful :). I just hate shaving. I wish I could get laser hair removal so I wouldn't need to bother anymore. I hate having hair in general which is why I shave my head.
 
Haters gonna hate. Just out alpha them beta wimps by pointing out your glorious beard and their lack of beard. Then make a quip like "shouldn't you be in school?". Wedgie optional.

NB - this won't work if you're wearing skinny jeans and a trendy haircut.

what if they are more alpha without a beard :D afterall subscribing to fashion is a form of conformity and subjugation hardly alpha :) admittedly op is saying he didn't do it for fashion but still you know what i mean. Facial hair isn't the definition of alpha.

Plenty of complete wimps have beards these days, they're over compensating.
