Will Ricciardo catch Rosberg?

the track is boring. lends itself to no overtaking at all hardly.

I said after the last race, it sucks, it needs something to add overtaking, it's an incredibly dull track and somehow the long straight with DRS does absolutely nothing in terms of gaining. Less drag due to altitude means the DRS and slipstream each individually gain a lot less. But because all the other corners don't lend themselves to overtaking either the entire track fails. I wouldn't be surprised if fans after say 3 years realise there is going to be nearly no genuine overtaking and stop coming in such numbers and people will lose interest in it.

They need badly to rework a lot of the corners. I think a Germany style hairpin into the stadium then come back out and go around the outside of the stadium completely back to the start finish straight would add a lot.

Germany hairpin is great for overtaking. The really odd thing is having track in/near the stadium, you want to provide a corner that is exciting and has overtaking instead they put the slowest most boring sequence of corners of the season in it.

croftys just announced hes going to get off his chair. thats the most exciting thing about this race.

Thats a lot of time to make up. Don't think he'll catch Verstappen even.

Yeah I was kinda hoping the mediums would start losing significant performance towards the end but I think if they were going to they'd probably have started a bit by now.

Ricciardo's only taken half a second off Vettel that lap.

Traffic I think.

I'm really starting to hate Williams, they are so boring to watch in corners because they have no grip, but with no drag they can't be passed. All they do in 9 out of 10 races is spend the entire time blocking everyone.

How far back was Ricciardo from Verstappen when he pitted? I think it was 6-7 seconds. Verstappen with 6-7 laps left with a 7 second lead on Ricciardo would have made for a potentially interesting last few laps with Rosberg.
