Do not grow old

I actually don't think I am aging. I look the same as I did when I was 25, think the same and feel the same. 34 now.
It's kids what do it you. I don't feel old enough to settle down yet.

I try not to grow old but the seams to be constant forward motion and for the life of me I cannot find the brake?

I don't feel old but I know I am, when I make a noise getting up from any position.

I don't feel old but I know I am, when I dribble a little after urinating. :p

As for OP's post, how old are you 80!!!

Tell me about dribbling - 30 sec to pee and 2 min of thinking I have finished. :o

80 is only 7 years away

ChroniC

No one ever ages between 25 and 34 but don't waste your years between 34 and 64 -those thirty years will fly by.:D

I am quite pleased to see there are a lot more old buggers on here than I thought.

Don't bother going upstairs then...

I turn 50 this month.... Is that old ?

51 next month - beat that :p

What I hate about getting old is:

The aches and pains
Not being able to hear and see as well as I used to

Not knowing who the bands/singers are in the charts - apart from the fact that these days a fair few of them are managed by Simon Cowell

I have to agree. I've always been short sighted but with age I probably need reading glasses as well. But it's the difference low light makes to how badly I see now I'm old that shocks me. Forever looking over the top of my specs.

Hate driving in the dark now as well, especially on an unlit road. :(

I miss playing football. Had to stop playing Saturday league football last year, after 20 years in the Southern Amateur League, due to the pain in my left hip for the better part of the week after playing a match.

Growing old is a trade off. You get wiser and smarter the older you get (If you're doing it right! :p) but your body slows down and you need to work at your fitness. Personally I'd rather be older and less fit than younger and fitter and dumber.

My Mum is 81, very poorly and her TV keeps her company.
She rang me saying the TV is making an awful noise and she may need a new one so I rushed down immediately.
She turns everything off at the plug in the wall so I turned it back on and immediately her ventilator turned on so I needed to turn it off so I could hear the TV.
The silly bugger thought it was the TV making a noise :D
