Hello guys, I've been looking around and found this laptop for £1300 and I can spread the cost over 6 months with 0% interest. following specs
Intel Core i7 core i7-6700hq quad core processor.
Nvidia geforce GTX 1070
1920 x 1080 screen with G-sync 75hz once enabled
32GB RAM.
1TB SATA hard drive.
256gb SSD
Microsoft Windows 10.
Now I know it's not the best thermal wise and looks wise but I used to work at this particular store so will never have an issue if it comes to warranty problems, and for £1300 I can pay off over 6 months, what do you think?
laptop is a Medion Erazer X7849

Personally I would avoid Medion, they have a great deal on 1060's at the moment for about £850 in some places which is great, but I just cant bring myself to buy one.

Only had one but the CS experience was enough to put me off. Never worked from day one yet took ages to get money back to buy something else. Yes I know they are owned by Lenovo now etc but the Customer Service has not changed. Its still the same people based in Germany.

Do some research on warranty and CS before going ahead. They are cheap for a reason. If you can get a good 2 year warranty with it then maybe worth considering.

I'll be buying it from a retailer I use to work at and worked there for a few years so if it came to warranty issues I'd be fine I could also take out accidental breakdown for a few quid a month so if I damaged something by accident I'd get it replaced no bother :)

Yes, warranty is with the retailer, at least for the first year. I have been thinking about the same deal, wary of Medion's reputation, but not of the retailer's.

Do me a favour and trust me the retailer please, my google skills are failing me! Thanks. Thats a lot of laptop for 1300.

I will do once I'm on my pc pal :) it's a shame I used to work there so another 10% off I'd of recieved meaning just over £1000 for the laptop!!

Cheers mate. At £1300 its still easily £300 cheaper than the nearest similar spec laptop.

The code for an extra 10% is LAPTOP10 too. I get 8% off at that retailer through my work too. Very tempting.

I would have gotten another 10% off as I used to work there :( might ask one of my older colleagues to do it for me, and I have £40 vouchers so I'm getting a GTX 1070 laptop G sync i7-6700hq 256GB SSD for around £1000!! :D
and I'll just throw some liquid ultra thermal paste as that's the best by a mile in my experience.
